I never write reviews but wanted to give this company kudosFirst - it's a very sturdy, solid product, made with actual wood. Huge difference from a few other, similar self-assembly style household objects I've ordered recently. I'm probably going to place some heavier stuff on it and have no doubt it'll be fine. And looks greatNow, I do want to mention that the assembly wasn't SUPER quick, but I must give a shoutout to whoever designed those instructions (they deserve a raise) -- these were extremely clear, all the parts were perfectly labeled in little bags with extras inside, everything fit nicely, and it all came together in a very sturdy way. They even give you a screwdriver. Honestly, what a refreshing experience

The unit is very nice! It took about an hour to put together. Everything including many spare parts and a screwdriver were in the box. Plenty of storage. We used it in our son's bedroom under the tv. Didn't take up to much space and gave him places for dvds and he uses the shelves on the side for shoes. It keeps his room organized. The color is a bit browner than I thought up it complements nicely. We have bought 4 Vasagle products and have been pleased with each one. Sturdy furniture for a great price!

Assembly was frustrating, but I feel that for anything I have to assemble! This was not the worst, but you only get pictures and no “written” guidance. The piece is actually nicer and sturdier than I expected. Looks and worked perfect in the small space I needed it for. The only structural complaint is the backing for the cabinet side is quite flimsy and to be able to screw it on completely, you would have to drill a few holes yourself on one of the back sides of the laminate part of the piece. I was too nervous to do that. The other sides and all corners are particle board so you can force the screws without drilling. It stays on without the other side being completely screwed on, but would be nice for the company to drill them.

I loved how realistic this looks. It's a tad heavy. Each board is very thick and sturdy. Great to use as a towel cabinet in my salon and to put my back bar shampoo and conditioner liters on the top.Great color that will match everything.If you're on the fence, just do it. This piece is superior to others. Fairly easy to assemble. Took me about 20-30 minutes to do alone

We needed something for a NAS and wifi equipment in our living room and this seems to be just large enough to cover that and help us keep small things off our dining table. We had a set of stacking tables we move all over from the same brand, same style of veneer so this matches our place well.Assembly was really easy if you're used to packaged furniture assembly. I cheat and use a power driver despite the risks and this is sturdy enough where if you are used to doing that (not recommended if you're not) it's a 30 minute project while entertaining a 7 month old in parallel. My favorite part about this one is that the card backing that goes behind the cabinet is screwed in with tiny wood finishing screws that have big heads on them. And the backing has pre-cut holes. So they're a breeze compared to items where you have no markers on the backing and you need to hammer in little nails. That's always the most time consuming part. And if item descriptions said they had screws and holes rather than "nail it on" I'd always buy the former for convenience. So much faster.

Review #1 2020 - Waaaaaay better than expected! Not only in terms of looks, but build quality as well. I highly recommend this cabinet. Took me roughly 45 minutes to build with a 2year olds assistance/hindrance :) Also, it arrived a day early!Review #2 2021 - Ended up buying a second identical shelf hoping I could flip the design to the other side to match it's brother. Unfortunately I couldn't, but that is perfectly ok as this shelf/cabinet combo is great for the price. It's particle board but they've used pretty decent laminate over it that's pretty to the eye and pretty tough to boot (discovered while modifying mine lol).They've also upgraded the tool kit and extra parts. It includes a full-size screw driver with both philips and flat heads. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. So much I bought another a year later and was still just as happy. Delivery was a day early on both deliveries too.

We got this on a deal a while ago and have used it for couple of months and it was super easy to put together and looks sleek and minimalist!

We (so far) got the Vasagle:- (5ft+) ladder shelf- retro bookcase- storage shelf cabinet- writing/pc tableand have received and assembled the first three on that list so far.....Apart from the fact that they are 🇨🇦 locally shipped for free (prime) quickly and have a return policy, each of these came extremely well packaged, with foam, plastics etc. The boxes are rather heavy and compact.Each part came assigned with a part number and matching screws etc were very neatly packaged in separate compartments. The instructions were mainly diagram based and if you look at each part shown on them (and compare to each part you are about to use - especially the amount and location of screw holes) you can’t go wrong ! TIPS: (1) as they recommend, better two people build it/help out to prevent shelves and panels tipping over with only few screws in - esp. in beginning stages. (2) It comes with allen keys, but I suggest you hold a bigger flat point plus a smaller star screwdriver close by for assembly.Each of these items received thus far have EXCEEDED our expectations from the word go by far. We’ve found no flaws, no missing items or parts at all, no flimsyness. They have been WELL designed and the materials are fabulous. The assembled products look fantastic too ! Innovative and modern as well. WAY, WAY better quality than I have seen at many local retailers ! ..... and the price of these are fantastic !I can’t give anything but 5⭐️ for each of these !

Love this shelf! I got it for my bathroom so it fits my space perfectly! The price is pretty fair on this one as well!My only issue which wasn’t a big deal, was the instructions were a bit confusing. It came with spare hardware which was awesome but the bolt packages had mixed up numbers so I really had to figure out what went where, some baggies had double numbers which were different from the other. Other then that it was pretty simple putting it together. Came with tools which was handy as well!I love the look of this shelf, the measurements were accurate and the quality is definitely there with this unit. I’ll definitely be ordering more from this seller!!!

VASAGALE is a brand I've grown to appreciate over the last two years for their aesthetic, affordability, and the ease with which their furniture can be assembled. The finish on the wood is nice on all of their products, and one of the best parts is the sturdy construction. While certainly not "heirloom" pieces, these are affordable pieces of furniture that look *GOOD*, and have a decent amount of storage and this shelf is no different. It's really added a bit of extra flair to my kitchen as a piece for additional storage, and fits nicely into a tight spot between my wall and stove that I really had no other use for. Assembly only takes about 40 minutes and it's sturdy enough for me to pile appliances and cookware into. I live in a small place so space is a premium.

I bought this company's 55" desk and although was only in the market for a desk, I had a hard time NOT buying an accompanying piece from them! So I bought a matching cabinet! Really cool stuff, well-made and very well packaged for shipping. Arrived four days after ordering. This wasn't quite as easy as the desk in terms of assembly of course (way more pieces/screws etc), but it's not terribly difficult and I did it alone. There's a little mistake in the instructions - they refer to two "H" pieces which are actually "G" (and previously referred to as "G" earlier in the instructions). No biggie and not a deal breaker. I figured it out right away. Everything was well-labelled. This is a solid and beautiful looking piece that can be used in various ways. Very happy I purchased both the desk and cabinet from this company. I would definitely do business with them again.
