My 95 S10 had a badly worn rag joint on the steering shaft and this u-joint was a perfect replacement/upgrade. The original rag joint is a pain to remove, but the new u-joint slides right on. I knocked off one star because the set screws are literally three times longer than they need to be. When installed they stick way out and I had to trim one down for clearance.

The joint could have been a bit smoother but I suspect ti will loosen up a little with more use. Like other reviews I used the joint to replace the rag joint on my 90's GM truck. Went it easy enough with a little grinding to get the old joint off. The steering feels tighter and it was worth the time to improve it. Getting rid of the quick take up master cylinder in favor of one from the 70's was another must do if you have a GMT400.

It was almost exactly what I was looking for. Did the job on my 1999 Chevy S-10. I'm pleased with the results. Thank you.

Used this product to replace the old rag joint on my 95 C1500. Simple remove and replace. Just had to trim down one of the tightening screws.
