I really like the stainless steel ends and other drinking water safe materials that make up the hose! I have owned these hoses before and have had good success with them. I like that the hoses are kink resistant . Coupled with a pressure regulator and a water filter makes a great combination for clean safe water!

I've bought other brands and they are almost all gone but my Camco hoses are hanging in there. I don't even know when I ordered them. I will say that 2 died of lawnmower injuries. They were replaced with other hoses. But the original Camco hose is in the same place it's been for years. I pulled it out of the grass and vines this evening just to look at it, not swollen or brittle. I have to repair the other hose I bought locally, got a hole in it. I really expected the Camco hose to break as hard as I pulled on it, but it's still in one piece. So if you need a good garden hose and want one to last, get this one. I think the price is pretty good if you figure how many years you'll have it. Even more if unlike me, you take care of it. Or maybe not!

Who knew that a hose could be "high quality". I have owned some of the more basic drinking water hoses from Camco, but because this one wasn't significantly more expensive, I chose to go with it. Right out of the box it didn't add a weird taste to the water. It is definitely a heavier duty hose so it's not super flexibly, but as it will remain permanently attached to my city water inlet, it doesn't have to be.
