I've been wearing this about 3 months now. I'm really sensitive to metals so I was a little worried as some advertisers blatantly lie about what's in the jewelry they sell. Very happy to say this doesn't seem to be the case. I haven't experienced any discomfort or discoloration and I have a bad habit of fidgeting with my septum ring a little too often (my piercing is old pls don't touch your piercings for a few months AT LEAST after getting them)I've also had no issues with the balls loosening or falling out. It was surprisingly easy to put on- internally threaded is always the way to go to avoid irritation. It took me only a couple minutes to screw the ball in place. Sometimes when I fidget with it I twist the balls in the tightening direction which probably helps.My only thing against it is that the opening is too narrow to flip up- not a problem for me personally but be wary if that's something you're looking for.All in all I like this ring and I would definitely recommend it. (I don't remember what size I got besides it being 16g which is typical of septum piercings)

I purchased the smallest option, uncertain what the sizes would come out to.It fits me well, is smaller than what I'm used to wearing but is comfortable and doesn't pull like larger/heavier ones do.I included an image to give people an idea on sizes.Wear plastic/rubber gloves to screw the little ball in. It helps.

The balls WILL NOT stay on. It’s ridiculous. Ive had my septum pierced for 10+ years and I’ve never had a piece of jewelry this bad. I’ve been wearing it for a week and I have to tighten the balls throughout the day because they come loose. Eating cereal just now, one fell off and into my bowl, and I noticed that the other is already gone—no idea where. I just sized up my piercing so this is all I have that fits my new 12g size, and I’m stuck with a ball-less piercing until the better quality ones I ordered arrive. Don't buy this garbage unless you want its metal balls in your cereal 🙄.

Good quality piece of jewelry. Steel and cheaper metals make the septum funk bad, this one has none when it’s in. This is the 14g 10mm with 4mm balls for reference. Used to gauge up from a 16.

I have been wearing this ring for about 2 months straight and havent had any irritation at all. It stays in well when I sleep and during other activities. Balls havent loosened up at all.

I’ve had cartilage piercings since the early 90s, and worn posts, hoops, silver, gold, and even sewing thread when I had a more conservative job a couple years after college. I let most of them close, but kept the topmost ones. Hoops always work best as I’m a side sleeper, and I had to start wearing 18k gold when my ears got super sensitive a couple years ago. I thought I’d try titanium, and I’ve always loved the look of a circular barbell. I was happy to find smaller gauge titanium circular barbells, though I don’t know why I never looked online before, just never crossed my mind to check. Duh. I ordered 2 and they came the next day. They look exactly as expected, and I was able to put them in without issue. I initially didn’t know the difference between the internally and externally threaded, but got a lesson in reading reviews, and I agree, internally threaded feels more secure. It was a little tricky to aim right, but once I made it in, it just screwed right in. Righty tighty. I don’t even feel them, they’re easy to sleep with, and haven’t irritated my ears at all. After having my septum heal super fast after initial piercing, I was bothered by soreness, tenderness, and odor after I changed out the original piercing jewelry to some “cute” inexpensive pieces I had bought here on Amazon and on Wish. Big mistake. Within a few days of changing it out from its original jewelry, I noticed the foul smell I had read others complaining about. A week or so later, one side became very tender and was unrelieved no matter what I did with saline or simply leaving it alone. I contacted a very reputable piercer in the area who explained to me that even though pieces online were described as “stainless steel “, “nickel free”, or “hypoallergenic “ they are often times made of very cheap and sometimes dangerous materials which cause inflammation and even infection. He instructed me that I needed to do the research in finding a real TITANIUM or stainless steel piece from a reputable jewelry company. Fast forward to only 24 hours after inserting this new piece: already the tenderness and odor is gone. The gauge is standard 16g 8mm which is a bit smaller than the 10mm I’ve been used to wearing BUT seems to fit much better to my septum anatomy. I’m so glad I found this brand of ring, which ALSO is much more user friendly than the typical threaded balls/barbell. See the details on how this one is put together. I highly recommend this 8mm semi circle for those who have had the same issues as I have or to AVOID having these issues after your initial daith, rook, or septum piercing. Thanks so much! I keep this one in as my daily. Since I cant wear piercings at work, I just flip it up and hide it. It's a tad bit smaller than I anticipated so I have to work with it to get it to flip up but I kind of like it snug. Hasn't irritated my skin or bothered me in any way. Will definitely buy more of this brand and metal in the future.
