a little on the cheap size.
the core of my coax passed right into the center pin. make sure you check this connector with a multi meter BEFORE you solder it.

Not great, but decent for the money
You can spend a lot or a little for PL259s. Usually, the cheap ones are hard to solder to or the insulator melts with moderate heat. Soldering these are good, not great. You do have to be careful with soldering heat to not melt the insulator. But, with care, you can make these work. For a price far below that of the premium connectors, I think they are ok

Just be careful and don't trust Ebay. They will let you crash and burn.
You must be careful with the center insulation. It's definitely not an Amphenol. You must be very careful with the heat because you can melt it and then you have junk. It will melt quite easily. You get what you pay for. With that said they seem to work okay. Long term in the weather will be another story. But if you're looking for a inexpensive connector this should be just fine. Make sure you wrap it up tight to keep the moisture out. The only thing I could add to keep in mind these things are from China. Only buy from a US seller. That way you can get you money back if your not satisfied. Don't count on Ebay to help. Also always use a credit card so you can reverse charges because like I said, Ebay won't help you. I check very careful after being burned by them. My only advice is to hyst be careful.

Nice fittings.
Fittings were as expected. Would by again.

false advertising and junk.
insulator is -not- ptfe, melts like nylon, and the threads don't fit anything.

Pretty cheap but works!
These are pretty cheap. Was surprised when I looked and instead of holes for soldering the braid, it has two rectangular holes. Had to clean it up with a file because there was pretty rough. Be careful when soldering the middle pin because heat does melt the amphenol insulator and it will move the pin. Wait and see how it holds up.

Doesn’t melt!
Most cheap import PL connectors, the centre insulator melts before you get enough heat to solder.. NOT THIS ONE! Even with excessive heat the centre insulator holds…. Good quality…. Highly recommend a decent wire stripper to make it work easy.. I have used these on CommScope RG 213/214, Davis BuryFlex and generic RG8 and LMR400 fits them all nice and tight

Working, but, nit quite as expected.
I needed a couple connectors for RG-8X, and these connectors worked fine for that. However, the description stated RG-59 and other sizes and based on the photo, which shows the connectors with the adapters installed, plus 10 additional adapters not installed, so was expecting to get the adapters for a couple different sizes of coax.Otherwise, the connectors appear to be working fine.

Worked well
Units worked well for what they were designed for

Not Teflon as stated in description. Melted like cheap plastic.
I ordered because the description stated Teflon. Went to solder and hardly had any heat on it before it melted. Not a good quality connector.
