This really is a lovely lamp, nicer than it looks in the photos. It’s not perfect — I have a feeling the copper coating will chip over time as there are a couple of bits of silver showing through, and the assembly could perhaps be more sturdy. If I’d spent £80 on it I might regret it. However, for £33 it really is an incredible bargain, so I give it 5* for excellent VFM and the simple fact that it looks absolutely stunning and really makes our living room. Definitely recommend using a vintage style bulb with it — I think it would look a bit strange with a regular bulb. The base is very heavy and feels like excellent quality - even my boisterous Labrador and kids haven’t managed to topple it yet!

I have an (un)healthy obsession with industrial style lighting and edison bulbs so this lamp was a natural addition to my collection.It looks good and it works which are essentially the most important things for me, however....1) The assembly instructions aren't clear and I am glad I had spotted in other customer reviews regarding the removal of the black "clips" prior putting it together.2) The main pole is not sturdy and as such, the lamp is on a bit of a wonk. I've tried adjusting, wiggling, fiddling etc but I cannot see what the issue is so this lamp can only ever be in the corner where it can rely on other means to keep it upright.But again, it looks good and it works. So if that's what you want from a lamp, this might be the one for you.

Love my lamp so much! It looks great with the bulb, but also looks good with a normal bulb too. Completes my lounge!!I was concerned about it arriving chipped as people mentioned it in reviews. Mine had a tiny chip on the bottom, but the material on the underneath can chip easy. You can't see it when its standing so I am happy. It's weighty and the marble base looks great. It's slightly shorter than I imagined (roughly 5'0) and the pole is thin so it didnt seem very sturdy when putting together. However, as I said it looks great in my lounge, great value for money, and really looks great. So happy with it!

So, so pleased with this floor lamp. Came before estimated delivery date - fantastic packaging and delivery - the lamp is absolutely perfect. Incredibly made, incredible value for my money. Just brilliant. Absolutely perfect - not often someone can say this about a product. BRAVO to the company - Please give me a job! I would love to work for a company like this!

Absolutely rubbish. A solid marble type base with a series of aluminium drinking straws support a flimsy metal shade. The heavy base means that any attempt to move it by the stem will result in it coming apart in the hand. Even with the locking nut tightened up as far as possible - which isnt easy reaching the recessed nut with the useless spanner provided - the lamp leans awkwardly over. Its flimsy and badly designed. The only thing I would do is use the shade as a pendulum fitting and bin the rest.

I love the look of it but it is a bit short. Would be great at 1.8m. The assembly is quite annoying as the pole comes in 2 parts and the screws to secure it are absolutely tiny. The black plastic bits are no help so ditch them. What worked in the end was to (1) ensure you screw the pole into the base very tightly and (2) wrap brown tape around the pole at the 2 points where you want to fit poles into each other. That makes them fit a bit tighter and overall the pole stands much straighter with less wobbling.

If I could give more stars I would! This lamp is absolutely stunning for the price! Its so heavy and you can tell it's great quality. There's extra pieces in case you lose the smaller ones and it's easy to fit together. Also didn't expect the pure marble base! Also came with a sized up foam sticker for underneath to protect any flooring. I couldn't be happier with this it's my favourite thing in my room!
