If you are only cooking for a small amount of people and you want a quality product then I would definitely recommend this. It’s sturdy and easy to maintain. The price is reasonable as well.

It comes in a box. You have to put it together yourself. It heavy . If you take your time anyone can put it together. Awesome for one or 2 people to BBQ. Or a single person with kids.

This little smoker has been the best grill I’ve ever owned, and I’ve spent over $3,000 on smokers before. For $83, I got four solid years out of it, only having to replace the grates once. It’s the perfect size for a small family (2-4 people), and despite its compact footprint, it feels big enough to handle four steaks at a time or even a small turkey.One of its biggest strengths is efficiency—you don’t waste charcoal, which makes it great for everyday grilling without burning through fuel. The only real design flaw is the placement of the wheels on the non-shelf side, making it awkward to move. But beyond that, it has been a reliable, sturdy, and surprisingly durable smoker.I’ve got one more summer left in it, but my wife wants a new one. Honestly, I’ll miss this thing. If you’re looking for an affordable smoker that punches well above its price tag, this is it.

The quality of this little grill is way above the old fashion round grocery store grills I bought as a kid and it is priced very attractively. This thing is very HEAVY, because it is made strong. I am very happy with this back yard grill.Now, about the missing star in the ratings. Assembling this grill was extremely difficult for me, but I can tell you how to make it easy. First, it helps if you know something about BBQ Grills, like what a Damper is and have an overall understanding of how a grill operates. All the pieces then will have some meaning to you. If you are a novice griller, I suggest you either invite a friend over who is a griller to assist you or google grilling for a spell.Second, and most important, search the Amazon comments/reviews for key words such as "assemble" or "put together" or even "I threw it in the river!" and print out some of the tips people have listed. I would never have succeeded in putting this together without the reviewer tips on Amazon!The company does not provide instructions but rather an entertaining puzzle sheet. Not all of the parts are listed in the front, they skip steps, and the laconic guidance is meant to challenge your mental springiness and ability to consume large quantities of liqueur. The pictures are part of the fun too, as they are incomplete, at poor angles and meant to confused rather than inform. Remember, each step is a puzzle! Enjoy! Drink heavily.Tip: Once you assemble the legs, the barrel (Grill body) sits on top, so make sure the screw holes in the top of the legs face INWARD. Not outward, as my photo shows. You insert bolts from inside the grill body into the top of those legs, and if the holes are facing out you will have to disassemble and reassemble the entire leg contraption. As I did.Tip: The ash drawer is inside the grill body. So, you can't insert bolts through into the top of the legs. Again, if you know grills, you would know the ash drawer slides out, and then you see the holes.I am not experienced with grills and not mechanically inclined in any way, shape or form. I have difficulty assembling a sandwich. So, if I can assemble this thing, you should be able to do so too. Just take your time, and again, search the Amazon reviews for other tips to assemble. This is great. Exactly what I was looking for. Inexpensive and good quality. Love it so far!

First, I ordered this grill and began assembly just to find out that it was missing the wheels and the wooden planks to build the shelf. I had to disassemble it, return it to Amazon and get a replacement. The replacement arrived and I assembled it AGAIN (Mind you, assembly takes at least an hour.) This time, on the final step of assembly, I come to find out that the ash drawer was warped and so it cannot close, and the fire grate is so bent that it is unusable to build a fire on. I didn't want to have to take apart the entire grill again and ship it back again for another replacement, wasting more of my time, so I figured that I instead would call char-griller customer service and request that they send me the 2 replacement parts I needed. They proceeded to make me email them a very detailed account about the damaged and requested many specific photos from me which I complied with... and I never heard a word back from them. They just disappeared. So, I emailed them again, asking if they could please send my replacement parts and to please respond - and they responded with this:"Thank you for providing all of the necessary information to submit a claim to the warranty department and for your patience! I am sorry this has been such a problem! The claim was submitted to the warranty department for review and due to the severe extent of the damage, the warranty department is requesting the grill to be returned to the retailer and exchanged for another grill.This is not what you paid for, nor the quality grill Char-Griller wants to provide! I am so sorry, but this is the best way we know to get this fixed as quickly as possible. Our quality control department has been made aware of the situation and we will be following up to ensure this doesn't happen again. You are welcome to please print this email and take it with you to the store."Which I responded to with:"So after sending me 2 defective grills in a row, and wasting hours of my time, your now telling me that you are also absolutely useless in providing adequate customer service. You want me to waste even MORE hours of my time disassembling this, try to puzzle it into a box, pay to have it shipped back and then want me to reorder yet again your poor quality controlled grill, just to have to assemble one for the 3rd time and most likely have it be defective AGAIN. No thank you.I will definitely be leaving a negative review and I will never recommend your company, and I will share my experience with others to warn them of the awful experience."Hence, my review.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID! RUN. AND NEVER LOOK BACK.
