I never could get with the idea of BBQing or smoking todays dinner atop the baked on greasy burnt bits of meals past, so a easy-to-clean grill makes sense to me. However, the Traeger folks equipped our Pro 780 smoker with a massive one-piece grill that is a struggle to manhandle in and out, drips grease all over the patio and floor, and won't fit in the dishwasher or our huge laundry tub sink. The sink is hemmed in on both sides, meaning the bulk of the greasy grill hangs out the front, dripping on the floor and getting stains all over my shirt.I was looking for a multi-piece stainless grill when I found this one. Its four pieces together are an exact replacement for the original grill. I can remove and clean only those grill pieces that get dirty, using an old 9 x 13 pan to move them inside without dripping. A bit of spray grill cleaner to loosen the worst of it and the rest comes off easily. Haven't tried the dishwasher yet but they should be an easy fit. The assembly welding and stainless finish are great.I was afraid having the grill in smaller segments might prove unstable, but last weekend we did a 14 lb brisket and 9 lb pork shoulder over 13 hours with no problems.8/20/19 Have now been able to clean easily in the dishwasher. After several sessions in our smoker the grills still look good as new. Maybe the best thing 'I've purchased on Amazon in years. The original grill has now been permanently retired.

These grill grates were exactly what we were needing. We actually weren't trying to find the exact size as the one we had, just close enough. We trimmed about two inches off of one of these and all of them fit and work better than the originals that were coated cast iron. Someone complained about lack of grill marks. That was not an issue for us. I have cooked whole spatchcocked chickens, breasts, and pork steaks so far and all have had beautiful grill marks. We are beyond happy with this purchase.

Good product great value. Fit perfectly in my Barbecue Galore Turbo STS. No extra room for the racks snug fit. This is thinner than the original but still works. The old grates are 10 rungs and the new ones are 11 rungs. Hence the difference in original size.

My grill originally came with the iron cooking grid. After 10 years, needed to be replace. This is an OK option. Only issue is they are a little over sized, yes that surprised me. Very tight fit slightly overlapping to get them to fit. The iron grid gives you better grill marks.

I replaced my old grates with these. They fit my grill perfectly and are holding up after about 10 uses so far.
