This is a great little art kit for kids who are too young for paint and glue. It is entirely sticker based. There are two activities where you peel off stickers and put them on the cut out. Two other activities consist of one giant sticky page with string, sequins, etc to stick on. The last two pages seem to be for coloring.I wouldn't buy this for an older toddler. However my daughter was 15 months when we bought it, and she has really enjoyed it! It's a great activity because we can leave and go back to it as her attention span allows without cleaning up a huge mess.

I bought this for my 18 month old. I bought another kit by this company and found she was not ready for it so I saved this one until she was 21 months. I probably could have given it to her sooner. She loved it! She loves the stickers. She doesn't quite stick them on there like the cover but she had fun. It was a great activity for us to do together. She also sat and worked with grandpa. This was a project that lasted for quite awhile. She loved the crayons which were really easy for her to hold. I think this was probably the best kit so far out of the 3 that I purchased.

Comes with 2 pages that have a large sticky area where the tot can “glue” confetti, doily,& tissue paper.2 cutouts for applying stickers2 pages for coloring with the 3 round crayons provided.My 18month old enjoyed completing these with some assistance. It was nice because the cleanup was minimal. No glue 👍🏻

I came across this kit while looking for activities for my 16 month old son to do indoors during winter. This is definitely a great kit for younger toddlers. There's no glue, basically everything uses stickers or sticky paper, the tissue papers that are included have all sorts of different textures that are oh so interesting for little toddlers to explore, its inexpensive, and did I mention that everything you need is included?? A few people have complained that their kids completed all of the art activities quickly, this kit is called "Art Start" and is geared towards much younger children than most of the other art kits, if your child is over 2 and has experience doing art kits this may not be the kit for you because they may do all of the activities quickly. Also, the amount spent on the activities might depend a little on the parent's involvement or your child's mood on a given day really. Other people have pointed out that you could save money and just buy the individual items yourself, but in some ways you are paying for convenience here (in this case convenience costs $9 and I'm ok with that). This kit is a great way to give your toddler a few different art projects to work on with a little different variety and see which projects they find entertaining and which ones they do not. I am happy with the quality of the items as well and have purchased several other kits from ALEX Jr since buying this one.

My kids love doing ALEX crafts. My 2 and 3 year old have craft time every day and the ALEX line of products has made craft time a lifesaver with quality products and kits that keep them entertained and artistic. This kit, while basic, was no exception to the rule.You get three different types of crafts in the set, 2 of each kind. Which is great if you have two kids working on the crafts like we do. While the 2 of each craft are not identical (for example the sticker craft has one giraffe and one tree) the activity is the same so two kids can do the crafts together.While this isn't one of those sets that will provide endless hours of fun it's definitely perfect to keep on hand for a rainy day or two. The kids love doing the crafts and there really is minimal mess with this set (which is a big plus for parents).If your kids enjoy arts and crafts time this is the perfect set to keep in your collection for a rainy day or a last-minute project when you haven't had time to plan a craft project for the day.

This kit failed to live up to the expectations we had of Alex craft kits. In my opinion, any 18 month old would be advanced for this kit. It includes 6 projects, In 3 separate envelopes.It included 2 coloring sheets (cute boarders) with 3 star shaped crayons, which texture fore easy grip; I had to find extra stickers for my son to put on these pages to keep his interest, because coming back to a partially colored paper isn't an option with a 2 year old. It had a sticker pack, which included a giraffe and a tree where he placed stickers on (and could color on it, I guess) he had more fun because he knew (or thought) it was a horsey. The 3rd activity packet was the "best" of the 3 and more advanced. You pulled off the center of the frames, which were sticky, and put the tissue paper, doily paper, ribbons, etc..I will not be buying the Alex Jr. Tots Art Start Kits any longer. I love, love Alex Toys little hands early learning kits for my son and purchased the preschool kits well before he was 2. With a little more assistance from myself or a caregiver (grandma or an aunt--whoever was watching him) and a little more frustration from him, he was able to do the projects just fine and in the process learned that with hard work he was able to finish the other projects. (Those kits were ready, set, paste; ready, set, cut; my farm collage...)

Bought this for two year grand son. He loves the art projects as we do them together and they are very age appropriate . Very good product at a low price. Would definitely buy this again. He was able to complete all the projects and had a lot of fun doing them.

Worth it for moms that are looking for always something different for there kids. Adds variety to there little lives. My child used a couple of them and I still have 2 or 3 left and you can always go back to the tree and giraffe to add more stickers after. Plenty of stickers... to use. They should add more shredded coloured tissues and more coloured tissues as well. Felt it wasnt enough snowflakes either. Overall still happy I got it to occupy my child's time with!

Bought it for my 18 month old. The crayons are shaped well for tiny fingers to grasp but terribly useless - they are just too hard and won't write unless you press really hard. The only thing that kept my toddler engaged were the stickers - giving it 3 stars for that. The collage activity is okay as well.

Lot's of fun. There's 6 project so you can spread them out over a week or two. I love those crayons, the're better than crayola for the little ones.

Bought this for my 18 month old. It’s fine but really more for a 2+ year old. Wouldn’t pay more than $10 for this- even that is a bit steap considering you can get most of the items at the dollar store. Kept my 18 month old entertained for a few minutes, my 3 yr old used most of it.
