, The good: it looked great when first installed. The bad: We wanted to love this forever. but forever was from april 2017 to November 2018. the first things that started to fail was the gfi case. Notice the cracks on both sides. We could live with that because it was only opened infrequently very bad quality. Then it got worse. The opening mechanism no longer works, it has to be pried up to open Called the mfg who stated it was out of warranty, (after 18 mos) but their sister company could replace it for 139$ top only ...we already paid 159$ I cannot recommend this item to anyone and must agree with those who stated the pop up feature failed prematurely. This is not a cheap item and the mfg stated they could not repair because it would void the UL listing. Unless you are willing to shell out about the same amount for a replacement in a few months, and pay for the electrician to install it. DONT DO IT.

We bought two of these great looking outlets a year ago and installed them in our island countertop. We used them often maybe once every two days, so they saw plenty of action. However, around their year mark the pop up springs in both outlets went out, so you had to use something like a credit card to pry the outlets open. So if you decide to buy these outlets make sure it will be light use, once a week or less.

I bought this product less than a year ago for my brand new stone peninsula. Worked well for a few months and suddenly stoped working upon running a regular hair drier on it. That was a boomer since these countertop plugs are quite expensive. I had an electrician check the installation and could not find anything wrong with it. The remainder of pugs connected to the safe GFS line kept functioning normally. I contacted the store and I received a brand new replacement unit within two days. Very happy with the service and looking forward to replacing the unit on my countertop. If this one runs normally the product and service are worth the price.

Purchased two of these outlets for my kitchen. I have a Kohler Stages 45" sink which is massive, requires two faucets and sits within a bay window setup. Trying to be compliant with code was looking to be a challenge until I found these outlets.Not only did these outlets fit the bill to allow me to be compliant, they look gorgeous. I got the stainless steel outlet and I had the countertop fabricator cut a hole for them and a lip so the outlets will sit flush.These outlets work perfect. Hidden when not in use and push a button and you now have power where you need it. I did have a minor issue with the outlet but the company stood by their warranty and made the whole process super simple.I would highly recommend these outlets if you are looking for a flush outlet.No point on the kitchen counter, measured at the wall may be more that 24 inches away from a receptacle. Spent tons of money on new granite counters and tile in the kitchen which all turned out great, but this little device gets most of the compliments. I come off looking like a genius for installing it. Very functional and high quality build and material. Wish I had space for another one.

For the cost of this electrical outlet, I really expected it to be a bit nicer. The top plate is nice, smooth corners and sleek looking stainless steel. When it pops up (not very easily, as it turns out) the metal is sharp and rough--much the same as the electrical box it sits in. In our case, too, the box is too small for the wires and outlet to fit properly. It's a good idea, I suppose, but it could have been executed with a bit more thought.

I bought two of these a year and a half ago and installed them in a kitchen island in connection with a gut renovation of my kitchen. After about 14 months, both pop up mechanisms (on both outlets I purchased) stopped working. I tried multiple times to adjust the tension screws but it didn't fix the problem. I now just leave them open (defeating their purpose) as I do not want to pay to replace them.

Absolutely love these. I installed two in the granite on my kitchen peninsula so no longer dragging appliances to a wall outlet. They don't open and close quite as smoothly as I'd like but the convenience outweighs that minor issue.

This is a really great device. Looks very slick, and gets a lot of compliments in my kitchen. Even better, though, was the service I had from SupplyKick. I had a problem with a piece in the device breaking. Mario from SupplyKick was super helpful, very attentive, and got me back up and running lickety-split. Now I'm popping up my receptacle just like before!

The spring broke on this thing and we barely even used it. I pushed it down today because I was cleaning the counter and when I pushed the button it didn’t pop back up. So now I have to stick a knife in there to pry it open. I guess we’ll have to leave it popped up to avoid sticking a knife in there every time we want to use it , which defeats the purpose.

Great product but over priced. Not easy to install but end result is nice
