I have developed osteoarthritis in my lower spine and specific pain on my right side SI joint. I like to walk two miles every day as part of my fitness routine but it became painful both during and after. After researching my options, I purchased the Sparthos SI belt to help with the pain. I've used it daily now for about two weeks and the results are just amazing. The belt is super easy to use and comfortable, but the best thing is the compression is adjustable and stays in place when set ! One set of stretchy velcro tabs connects the belt itself in the middle, then one set on each side stretch to set the amount of compression you want. I wear it over my sweat pants but it would work over any kind. My pain is totally gone when walking and substantially better afterwards because of this SI belt. I've also worn it all day on a less tight setting and I've avoided taking Aleve on particularly achy days. I'd highly recommend this belt. Comfy, well made and a great price.

Good belt, the velcro hasn't slipped in years, I bought two for two places of pain in my lower and upper back. It give good adjustable support with the additional stretch pieces, firming it up or loosening it up in some areas, as one sits down or stands up. Quick and easy instant adjustments possible, unlike other brands that the velcro wears out after a while. Very well made, I hope they still carry them when mine wears out, (if every, lol), it's been so long, may not wear out. Still great gift for others with back pain, they will love you for it.

I have been experiencing some pain and discomfort in my right hip. I stretch before workouts, etc., but nothing seemed to alleviate the discomfort.This belt does alleviate the discomfort most of the time. I use it while doing lower body exercises, e.g. back squat and it helps support my hip. I use it while running and it helps up to a point. It alleviates pain but not every time I run.It's so comfortable, you won't know its there. Best-of-all, it does not get in the way of exercise. You can do squats, deadlifts, and run with it and it won't get in the way. So far, the elasticity has held up; it has become looser while running. That was one of my concerns before I bought it. Amazing, what a bit of compression does.

Let's be clear. This does not CURE an issue in the SI joint. I have hurt my SI joint over the years and it usually is ending up around once a year now. I am a weightlifter and I got the belt this last round of injury. And I am careful with my lifts. As a personal trainer, I need to be supported to demo for clients and help them out. I have used many weight belts over the years. From the old leather straps, to today's buckles and velcro. I will say that this SI belt does support the SI joint specifically. And with the dual straps you can vary the tightness on either side well. It is also very comfortable to use daily. I have had the belt for 1 month and would love to see how it is 6 months from now but for now? It works very well as a support tool for gym goers. Again, this will not sure the pain - meds do that for me. But it does give me the support I need to be wary of how I use my lower back during lifts or workouts.Update: months have passed and wanted to update everyone. The belt was fine for a while then the velcro began to wear out. Now the belt won't stay tight and locked anymore. No matter how much I brush the material the belt snaps off whenever I tighten it. I dropped my rating from 4 stars to 3.

I have had lower back pain issues intermittently, with the pain sometimes moving into the hip region. Lumbar support never helped when the pain was lower down, so I decided to try this sacro-iliac support. It does feel a little weird since it sits on the butt, feeling almost like pants and falling down, but the pain relief came very quickly. The muscles relaxed and I could bend and flex with ease (well, as much as possible at my age). I think the comfort and support would be better if the band were a little wider. As designed, the pressure is concentrated in a very small area. Otherwise, this is a great product - exceeding expectations.
