Good product but no documentation
Probably a lot of one-star reviews would not have been posted if the seller had provided the keypad pinout. With reference to the attached photo, the R and C (row and column) lines are:BLK - R2ORA - R3GRN - C3YEL - R4RED - C1BLU - R1WHT - C2I had no issues soldering the header. Fine tip is definitely recommended.

The Tegg keypads are as advertised
The keypads arrived in a very short time, and in new condition. Decoding with a VOM showed that pins 1-3-5 were columns, pins 2-4-6-7 are rows. Resistance of keyswitches is several hundred ohms on the unit tested. All in all, no complaints so far.

Update to my previous review.
Initial ohmmeter readings showed that most of the keys read around 20 ohms when pressed. Some of the keys read several hundred ohms when pressed, which caused me to conclude that they were defective. However, when I connected it to my Arduino board, all of the keys did function as advertised. While there is no guarantee that this keypad will function correctly in your circuit with the high resistances on some of the keys, it did function correctly with my Arduino Uno board.

Not my cup of tea
I prefer keypads that have the same form factor (on their face anyway) of a Western Electric Touch Tone dial. These just seem cheap and small. I will say that other kit builders have told me they are happy with the durability of these dials. The vast majority of these type of dials are manufactured by Accord in Taiwan.

No wiring information, Matrix for keys not properly set up, No leads to solder on
I bought this for a home automation project that needed a basic 3 x 4 number pad for user inputs. The style of the product is what sold me on it. I was okay with soldering on my own wire but due to the design of the product it became tedious and I almost melted the plastic on the housing due to the iron being to close. Even after getting it all solder together I was still willing to try to salvage the device. When I got to actually programming the device however, I was unable to determine the proper pinout since there is none given. After trial and error of picking pins and pushing buttons I determined that the device is not worth the effort. This product should come with some kind of pinout and to be able to solder from the other side of the board so you don't damage the plastic.
