Works Perfectly..!
I have a vintage Technics SA-818 receiver from 1981. It's in Mint condition. It's been in a stereo cabinet for many years, and it gets warm, and if left on for an hour or more, hot. I recently decided to install a AC Infinity AC-ACT10 fan ventilation system, for $129.00 . Yes, this was am expensive cooling system, but, with its build and features, I felt it was well worth it. I got the ACT -10 on Monday, and installed it immediately. When I powered the unit up, it ran Great..! However, the EMI/ RF it created, shut off ALL reception to the FM tuner..! I contacted customer service, at AC- Infinity and they suggested a ferrite core bead, on the AC power line would eliminate the noise....WRONG.!It did nothing..! I returned the unit, the next day, but was still needing cooling for my receiver.I looked at this fan, and read many reviews, from others saying this fan worked excellently with their receivers. I thought for $14 I couldn't go wrong. I installed it as soon as it came today, and tried it with my receiver. The fan on the lowest setting, moves tons of air..! And, absolutely no noise on the FM tuner side..!! Sometimes, cheaper IS better..!! I highly recommend this product..!!!

Using this with a mist fogger - working great so far!
I have this set up in front of a mist fogger to circulate the humidity in a grow tent for mycology experiments and growing cactus and vegetables. I have the fan and the fogger connected to an Inkbird humidity controller. Bam. There it is, it completes the system. The noise is barely noticeable outside the tent, but of course if you set it on high speed it makes a bit more noise. But overall I am happy with how quiet it is, and the fan speed controller is fantastic also. I also love that the fan and controller connect with a plug, so if either of them go bad, you can easily replace with no wiring necessary. 2 months so far and still working great. That's what you needed to know, right? Happy growing! Helpful?

We bought this to cool our OTA dvr. It’s quiet (at the lowest setting) and it does the job well.

nice fan
The only reason I am giving this only 4 stars is I haven't really put it through its paces yet. Connecting the power and screwing on the guards was very easy, didn't even need instructions for it. It's a nice big fan and puts out quite a lot of air even at lower speeds. I know some might complain about the sound volume on some fans but while it wasn't whisper quiet, it wasn't noisy to me even cranked all the way up. I think my ceiling fans were just a little quieter than this fan and those are pretty quiet. If you put it under an electronic that "hums" then you might notice a little extra hum but that's all. It seems solidly built and I expect it to last quite a while and even if it only lasts a year, it's still cheap enough to just replace it. Plus if the fan itself quits, then I can just use any other fan with the power supply since the two parts aren't one.

Very good fan
I originally bought the 120 mm dual fans from same seller but those didn’t have the power I thought they would. I need a certain amount of air flow for a refrigeration evap coil. So I ordered a pair of the 140mm ones and wow! night and day for being so close in size. A single 140mm fan has the same power in wattage as the combined dual 120’s and feels so much stronger. So I get a true 12 watts of power with a pair of the 140’s. The blades are bigger and the motor inside is noticeably larger as well. Just what I needed. The turntable knob for fan speed is a really nice feature. i have to use them on full blast all the time so hopefully they stand the test of time. Really good product five stars

Keeps the radio cool
Bought this for a radio base station which has a tendency to run a tad warm on 45 watts output. Added the fan on top and it keeps cool air flowing through the vents of the radio and power supply. It takes a minute or two to add the upper and lower screen and the rubber feet. The speed control is a great addition to both change the speed of the fan up and down which ties into the fans noise. I run the fan at a little less than halfway (low noise) but turn it up for long transmission times (loudest). It appears to work great keeping the radio components cool. It does not move from its position sitting on the rubber feet on top of the radio cabinet. The radio is just beneath the top which is vented. The power supply has its own fan on the bottom of the cabinet. The radio is a Kenwood TK-8360hu-k and the cabinet is a Samlex SEC-1223-TK3 (23 amp) with a Kenwood KMC-35 IP55 microphone. I would buy this again for another radio. Note: on high speed, the fan noise isn't all that loud and it does provide a comfortable cool breeze around the cabinet as well.
