I ordered this as a test, sending it to myself before I later try to send it as a gift. It's August, so ordering chocolate is usually a no-no but I decided to test their Warm Weather Guarantee.I can report complete success! Temps reached 89 degrees today, but the chocolate was not melted. The shipped package comes with an insulating pack containing frozen ice packs - the ice packs were half-melted but obviously they did the trick, and I think the package would have been fine sitting on my front porch for the entire afternoon and into the evening (based on the melting at 4:00 when I opened the package - I think it would have been fine until after 7:00, perhaps later ).The chocolate itself is good - it's Godiva, so if you've had it before, you know the quality. The flavors are as described on the product page, and while not all those flavors were to my personal tastes, that is immaterial - the gift chocolate is fun, colorful, original - and since it passed the shipping test, I have to say it's an all-around winner!

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to say that this chocolate is delicious with a really nice presentation. As a small gift for someone it arrived quickly and with free shipping.When I first got into gourmet chocolates almost 20 years ago, Godiva was at the top of the list. These days you can get any kind of artisan chocolate conceived of, and Godiva is just one of many chocolatiers (honestly they have too much sugar for me.)This flight is different, I had it on my list since 2018, and wish i would have gotten it a lot sooner. As someone who likes to give gifts (in general) and even to colleagues and distant relatives, this makes a perfect, tasty, and nicely packaged gift at a fair price point.It did not arrive with an ice pack, but could be because its February, although I live in Arizona it was perfectly chilled and not melted at all.

Wow, what a wonderful surprise this was. It was a lovely surprise for my cousin, the recipient, but also for myself! I ordered these chocolates for her because I had no idea what to get her and figured, who doesn't love Godiva?! I ordered them three days before her party and two days before a massive heat wave here in Northern California! I was SO stressed out about their delivery, not knowing exactly when they would arrive. I knew I wouldn't be home all day and didn't want them to be left outside in the heat but just didn't know what to do! I checked with neighbors, could they receive the package for me and the refrigerate it for me? - Nope, no one was home during that time! I put out a cooler with ice and a note to the driver to please put the package in there. Well, I need not worry at all. Godiva is a class act and had it all covered! The chocolates arrived beautifully boxed and protected with ice packs labeled, Godiva. I was so relieved and impressed and of course, the gift was a huge hit! Thanks, Godiva!

My wife : "Bought these with some cute candles for my son's birthday. They were well packaged, beautiful, and just yummy, but not worth $17. But if you want to impress someone with a mailed bday gift, these are perfect. They just won't guess you paid $17 lol. BEST CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES I EVER TASTED. I will attach a pic of the candles too.

I wanted something small to accent a “big ticket” item gift and this was perfect! Who doesn’t love chocolates on their special day? I love the birthday-specific packaging. It was a whimsical little treat to give. I also loved the variety of the box, makes it easy to give to anyone without having to know their favorite chocolate.

Ooh, boy, these are the best truffles. This birthday set has different flavors than the other Godiva collections. These arrived in fine condition. I have sent this box as birthday presents several times and the recipients have always loved them. It is just the right size and comes in a very pretty box. Treat yourself and your friends. I highly recommend these truffles.

I accidentally ordered this product without realizing that it said Happy Birthday on the front of the box. My error. I had been searching for a small/inexpensive candy gift when this item popped up below as an offering from Amazon that might be of interest to me. I ordered it directly from that very small image without ever going to the complete webpage for the product. That's why I didn't notice that it said Happy Birthday on it. When I contacted Amazon for return, they did credit me but said to keep the product. This is how it happened that I ended up tasting these truffles. and they were dreadful! I am so relieved that I did not end up giving this as a gift- as I originally intended. These truffles were stale and two of them where so dried up that the filling inside had shrunk leaving the inside of the truffle nearly empty. When I bit into the lemon flavored one I spit out that bite and threw the rest of it away. I know Godiva generally makes good candy, but this was awful. I couldn't find a reason for this staleness. The package was intact including the cellophane outer wrap. All I can say is, I would never want this to come as a gift from me to anyone!

I was afraid that they would arrive melted after reading some of the previous reviews. I was impressed with the care taken to insulate and package the truffles with ice packs. Not a single one melted or broken! They were delicious and better chilled than at room temp. I wasn't always sure which one i was eating but i had fun guessing the flavour. A little pricey, but IMO well worth it!
