better than expected other than speed limiter shuts off at 96 mph
2012 5.0 ford f-150 its been on a week now and the gas mileage went from 15 to 19.9 at 65 mph and an increase in horse power as well, but why the programmer did not remove the speed limiter??? It still shuts off at 95-96 mph can someone help me with this ? I don't drive that fast often but when I want it or need it to I expect it to preform, all else is better than expected except the speed shuts it off at 96 mph, how can I fix this or do I need to return it and go another route

It boosts your Horsepower about 5% - 10% at best.
Super easy install ( 3 Minutes)Adds some fun to your Gas Pedal, and gives you a sense of Pride when you floor it and leave that AMC Pacer in the Dust. Tomorrow I’m racing against a Ford Pinto….Seriously, my 5.0 Coyote Engine had 375 HP from Ford, now I’m much closer to 395 - 400 HP.I can outrun every stock 5.0 I’ve raced from Red light to Red light..Once I catch the Ecoboost engine, it stands no chance.

Worth every a penny in your piggy bank!
This chip as a warranty, so I thought I'd give it a try. I have a 2003 Ford F150 XLT FX4 and it's been three weeks now since the Innovative Performance Chip was installed and I have noticed an improvement in horsepower, throttle response, and some minor gas mileage. I did replace the spark plugs and the boots at the same time as the chip install. My expectations are reasonable given what I paid and so I have to say that I am pleased with the results thus far. The engine idle is like new, the transmission shifting is so much smoother and quicker merging into traffic and it does have a lot more power. It is meeting my expectations, worth the price if you have few extra coins to spend on your car or truck. The install was a breeze, took five minutes...then I wrapped the connections with some electrical tape a week later after I was confident the unit was working properly.

Ups and Downs...
So far after 3 weeks of using this Programmer, my fuel mileage has went down 1.8 mpg, but the 5.0 in my Ford FX4 has a much tougher sound, and has a noticeable increase in power. Maybe 5% or a little more. Also, I read from several other folks that did not disconnect for very long who ended up not getting any results. So, when I installed this programmer, I disconnected my battery for 48 hours.I wonder If I disconnect and reset again, it will help the fuel mileage? 2mpg is a lot when you go through 50-70 gal per week.

Not really what I was hoping for
I bought this product thinking it would be a simple and easy way to get more mileage / efficiency out of my 2012 f150 3.7 l v6. I read a lot of the reviews, and saw that insulation was very particular, I reached out to the vendor and asked for a specific constructions on insulation for my specific vehicle. To my surprise a response was made within 24 hours, I got the directions and installed it as prescribed. Now while I think the programmer gave me a small boost in horsepower, I did not get anything out of the programmer as far as mileage and efficiency goes. And possibly could have lost some mileage. I knew this product was going to be a risk going into it, so I'm not too upset about the loss... But I can't say that for my application, this isn't the right tool.

15 minutes to install. Does that include removing the engine?
I have a ‘17 F150 and thought this would be a simple install. When I received the instructions and saw this connects at the rear of the engine where the heads bolt on, that made me laugh. The V8 in this truck sits way back against the firewall. I could not even see where the sensor was. Looks like a major job to get to it. The book that came with this has a picture of it connecting to (what looks like) the intake pipe in the front of the engine. The connectors that come with this are terrible and should not be used on anything.

Not a simple plug in.
The product actually promises nothing. All the reference are for “possible”increases in horsepower and gas consumption. To that extent their advertisements are not incorrect. Changing my spArk plugs will increase my gas mileage assuming the new plugs are replacing used plugs. If you want sure things impact check your tire pressure, air filter, spark plugs, etcetera. The unit is not a simple plug in to your OBDII connection but involved a period without vehicle use, some awkward wiring of your air flow system. Changing your driving patterns to anticipate traffic, light changes, braking could well prove a better choice.
