Creality Upgrade Ender 3 V4.2.7 Silent Motherboard 32 Bit with TMC2225 Driver BootLoader for Ender 3 V2/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 5/Ender 5 Pro 3D Printer

I was getting fed up of sleepless nights to finish projects quickly or when printing 18+ hour prints.So here where comes in this fantastic board, it was EXTREMELY EASY to install, took me 20 minutes - it's very well thought out and works a treat.Yes it doesn't come with an install manual - that's because it does NOT need one. This is because each port is labeled either ontop or on the underneath of the PCB meaning all you do is match where one wire/connector is by name from your orignal board to this upgrade - 90% of the connectors on the upgraded PCB match the orignal PCB, it could not be easier.I'm going to finish off with saying you NEED this board, it makes the printer super silent and allows you to install the BL-Touch auto leveling system as it has a direct connector for one on the PCB, all you need to do is update the firmware to support. Which can be done on the front USB port (Micro-USB instead of Mini-USB - Much more common and easy to purchase) which is a huge change from the original PCB which you would have had to get access to the PCB and buy a special serial connector to change/upgrade the firmware.Worth everything penny.

So despite reading all the reviews, I was still shocked at how much quieter this upgrade makes the stepper motors! Only problem is it has now made me want to upgrade the fans as they are so much louder than the motors now. Also really useful to be able to easily update the firmware via USB and plug a BLTouch straight into the board without any adapters. Would definitely recommend this upgrade to any Ender 3 or Ender 3 pro owner. Easy to fit and I just watched a video from the excellent TeachingTech Youtube channel and that has excellent wiring reference diagrams for making sure you plug everything back in correctly.

Bought this for my ender 3 as I was sick of the noise from the stepper motors.The board I received had very similar but not identical connector positions.Where the mainboard fan connector was on the old board there was a 3 pin conector with no markings next to it and being no instructions or board diagram in the box didn't help.In front of this were 2 fan connectors.Fan 1 is the filament cooling fan connector and fan 2 is the mainboard cooling fan connectorMuch quieter anyway after fitting and well worth the upgrade.Update : after looking into the difference I have found the board I have received is the newer 4.2.7, 32 bit board and not the earlier 1.1.5 one that I ordered.Amazon have changed the description and pictures to match the newer board version since I purchased mine.

Mega easy to install, even when adding in a CR touch at the same time. Maybe 30 minutes in total. Prints just as well as the 1.1.5 board, and just as quiet. Highly recommended upgrade if you want to use the 5 pin CR Touch. Just remember to grab the correct firmware before you start, and use a known good SD Card that already works with your printer.Well worth the upgrade

Perfect upgrade to Ender 3, I have 2 Ender 3s one was rocking the 1.1.4 mobo and the other the 4.2.2, I upgraded both to this 4.2.7 and DAMN it be quiet. Somewhat going to miss the songs the printer used to make when printing but the silence is beautiful.Swap out was very easy, simply take a few pics before you remove the old one and it's pretty much the same layout to plug them back in.

I know everyone calls these the Silent boards, but I was unclear how a motherboard could make the motors quieter. All I can say is "wow". If it wasn't for the PSU and print cooling fan, I think my elderly Ender 3 printer would be completely silent now. It has also enabled me to easily add the CR Touch auto bed leveller.The only installation issue I had was that on default, the PID settings for the nozzle needed adjustment, as the nozzle temperature was constantly hunting up and down and never settling. Upgrading to the latest Marlin version solved this, but it reappeared with the Version needed to run the CR Touch. Fortunately there was many support pages which showed me how to tune my PID settings and its all good now. The Ender 3 saves these PID settings (and the auto bed level information) on the SD Card - so you have to remember that if you change CD cards.Physical installation was easy, provided you take photos and document all the old connectors before removing them. The only problem I had was one of the cheap allen head screws holding the old motherboard in was so tight that the head stripped when I tried to turn it. I had to drill that one out in the end.With the quieter board and the thermal runaway protection on this motherboard, I am much happier leaving it printing long prints overnight now - something I would never do before.

Bought this to quieten my printer and support a CRTouch, and to support larger firmwares.Does all those things.

I’ve undertaken several upgrades to my Ender 3 Pro over the last couple of weeks and, if you’re reading this, you are probably thinking about doing the same, so you may want to look for each of the following reviews under my name, to get a fuller picture. They are;• Sunlu Filament Dryer• Silent Motherboard 4.2.7• Build Plate Springs• BL Touch auto bed leveller• Noctua Silent Power Supply FanSilent Motherboard 4.2.7:I more or less had to buy this after buying the Creality BL Touch kit, because the latter doesn’t just drop into the 1.1.14 motherboard. I would have needed to buy a fitting convertor and another connection lead, which would have been half the cost of a new motherboard, so went for the latter to benefit from the noise reduction. Does it work? It certainly does. I have no idea why the motherboard makes the difference, always assumed the noises as the extruder whizzed around printing was mechanical, but that noise has simply gone. Completely. For that reason alone I think this is a worthwhile upgrade.

Actualice la tarjeta a mi Ender 3, ahora puedo dejar la impresora trabajando en la noche sin preopuarme de que el ruido moleste a mis vecinos. Ahora el ruido mas molesto es el de los ventiladores, pero básicamente es ruido Blanco. La recomiendo, en AliExpress es mas barata, pero igual y no te llega, estoy esperando un sensor de nivelación que compré y que tiene fos semanas de atraso... Si lo hubiera comprado en Amazon ya estaria instalado

Einfach nur wow!Lies sich sehr einfach einbauen, der Drucker läuft nun super leise, kann getrost im Wohnzimmer stehen und sogar nachts drucken!Problem ist nur, immer wenn der Strom zu schnell weg genommen wird, dann setzt sich der Drucker zurück und ich darf alles neu einstellen.Ansonsten, suuuuuuper!
