Pentair Everpure filter Cartridge is easy to replace. I love that it lasts approximately a year before needing replacing.

It couldn’t be any easier to install. It can be done in 1-2 minutes. The taste is even better than the original H300. I tried a less expensive substitute and it leaked. You also have piece of mind that many toxins like lead and pharmaceuticals, as well as cysts are all removed.For the best performance, this the one. It’s expensive but well worth it.

I’ve replaced this filter numerous times over the years and Amazon has the best price.

The picture of the filter head is incorrect as of March 2016. The filter head that is included in the package does not have a gauge or the vertical and horizontal shutoff connectors. I am in the process of remodeling my home and have not installed this filter yet. I just want to let people know that the picture does not match what is in the package.I have at least inspected the filter head and filter. They both seem to be of high quality, After I get this installed I will update this review.-------------------------------------------UPDATE: 6/11/2016It's been several months since I had this installed by my plumber. I looked at my invoice and could not believe how much I spent on this thing. The price has significantly dropped since I purchased this filter back in March 2016.I also had a whole house filter installed. The water coming out of the whole house filter gets filtered again by the NXT. To be honest, I cannot taste the difference between the water that only comes out the whole house filter and the water being filtered by the NXT. In both cases, the water does taste better than regular tap water. The advertisement for the NXT indicates that it also filters out some pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications, etc... I can only take the manufacturers word on this. I do know that if these things are being filtered out, they do not affect the taste of the water.Before installing this filter, I was buying water from a "water store" in 5 gallon jugs. I can taste the difference between the water being filtered by the NXT and the water from the store. The difference may be caused by the minerals that do not get filtered by the NXT. This difference does not bother me.Would I buy this filter again? No. The whole house filter I bought (3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Water Filtration System - Model AP801-C) seems to be doing an adequate job at filtering out the things that make the tap water taste bad.I am keeping the 4 star rating. The NXT seems to be a quality product and the filter is easy to change. It may also be filtering out additional unwanted things in my tap water that I cannot taste.

This filter which filters our drinking water stands above many in the quality and safe drinking water we receive.

Easy to install, this seems to be an update to their old product. But so far it is working great.

I am so glad that I did not need to rely on a plumber to replace this water filter. It was so easy!!! Do not let it scare you. The only disappointment is that the filter over doubled in price from what it was the last time. It WAS $79 including shipping and this time it was over $180. Crazy markup!!!
