It rusts! Not for outdoors!

I like the feature that I do not need to run the cable and the promise was 2 years of battery life. 5 months later, I realized the Camera is not connecting the sync module. The App kept confirming the battery is OK, hence trusted the App. Tried everything from changing the Wifi password to all recommended steps on multiple online communities. When changed the Wifi realized the sync module not recognizing the cameras, brought down the cameras from their outdoor locations to find the batteries are dead! Upon replacing the batteries, they worked like a breeze. 2 learnings - #1. App is not reliable for battery status #2. the promise of 2 years' battery life is a marketing gimmick. There is a lag in the motion detection, the mailman came and when leaving then the camera detected the motion - TOO SLOW! Disappointed. Was planning to give 3 stars, but gave 4th star due to the wireless feature. Overall not really satisfied with the quality of the product, did not stand the promise!

Easy install durable plastic works perfect

I love this product! I use it all around my house!

Pros: Easy to install, easy to connect, priced right.Cons: The sealed cover is hard to remove when initially setting up the camera, the speakers are not adequate and there is a noticeable delay when talking to the subject being viewed, the sound quality is not that good on either listening from or speaking to.Conclusion: The software could use improvement, the recording and scheduling options are not adequate either. When checking in live and when watching a recorded clip the sound has bad feedback and a hissing sound. The motion sensors are affected by shadow motion and sunset and sunrise are an issue if the camera has to be facing towards them. In spite of these inefficiencies I still feel this is a good value for the price. If you are patient enough you can eventually get the setup to work well in most situations. I found that due to the limitations of the scheduler it is best to create a few or more systems. I upgraded twice so I have three sync modules which allows me to connect three zones together so I can arm and disarm at different times.

Purchased several Blink cameras and was looking for more versatility in extending and positioning the cameras.Price was a factor in selecting these plus the variability in positioning.These are hard plastic, non textured and light weight. It’s not clear if there are any UV inhibitors that will extend their useable life with outdoor use.The metal mounting system and Plastic adjusters feel somewhat delicate to be used on expensive Blink cameras. But the cameras are not heavy and the only things touching these are birds and bugs.These are easily removable to service the cameras. You will need to remove the housing screws to install fresh batteries. You would t be able to to that while still installed.

Vor dem Kauf war ich skeptisch bezüglich der Stromversorgung - nur eine AA Batterie. Nach fast drei Monaten Betrieb kann ich nur positives berichten. Die Kamera ist super empfindlich, auch im dunkeln und nimmt alles auf, was sie aufnehmen soll. Der Aufnahme und Bewegungsbereich lässt sich super einfach einstellen. Die Einrichtung ist genial einfach und die Einstellungen intuitiv. Für mich ist das nicht die letzt Kamera, die ich für die Überwachung am Haus montiert habe. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Idea is good but the metal parts have rusted. Quality not ok.

Die Kameras inklusive dem System sind absolut zu empfehlen. Alles entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Ich bin absolut von dem System und dessen Qualität überzeugt.
