Great phone for the price
My $8million LG6 that was pretty worthless over its lifetime broke when the phone was out of contract and I pulled the sim card out to replace it with a new one. The cheap plastic tray broke inside and without mortgaging the house, there was no way it could be fixed. So, rather than go all in and drop another grand on a stupid phone, I bought this one. I have to say, for the price, it's a darn good phone. It took a while to set up, all the software updates and whatnot, but it took to my sim card from AT&T like a fish to water. It's got a nice clean look, Motorola has some nifty features built in, and for a guy like me who really doesn't do much but listen to music, check email, and surf the net, this works like a charm.I powered up the phone on a Thursday afternoon. It's now Saturday afternoon and I have 42% battery left. Granted, I haven't used it a ton, but still, no complaints there given my LG6 would power down in about 14 nanoseconds after hitting 100%.Keep in mind, there isn't a ton of memory here, but I put in an SD card and store all my photos, music and movie downloads there. That too is easy to do and keeps your internal drive in good working order. As for the camera, full disclosure, I'm no Ansel Adams or Annie Liebovitz, but I find it more than adequate. I will have to give the nod to the LG6 in terms of better quality, but if you start to break down the price per photo, LG has it around $87.42 a pic, and the Motorola is about $.0000001. So that's a pretty good savings.Seriously, I'm never buying another phone for more than $100 again. Feel like I basically put my whole retirement in jeopardy buying these high dollar brands and locking myself into payment schedules on par with a new car.

Great phone but not a 4000 mAh battery
I like Motorola phones a lot because they have a lot of features value wise this phone is very good for under 100 bucks is a very good phone pretty much waterproof but it is not waterproof you can add a SD card up to 128 GB and the best thing about this phone if you can make that SD card be the entire phone memory you can put all of your apps and everything onto that Sim card where as most phones you cannot do that you can only add some of the apps or part of the apps but not the entire app. What is confusing about this phone is that it says it’s a 13 megapixel camera and it’s not also it is advertised as a 4000 mAh battery however it is not I did a phone battery test on it and it is only a 2800 mAh.However printed on the packaging of the phone it says 4000 so Motorola is falsely advertising their product I plan on giving Motorola a call and ask them about that. I can’t come out yet on the battery life but as soon as I find out about it I will let you know if it’s an all day battery or not.

It was good when it was my only option lol
When the pandemix hit, of course i had to add to the pain by dropping my phone in the toliet. So with no prospect of buying another phone, I bought a Moto E5 to use for the time being until I could fine a job. It served it's purpose but let's be honest, the phone is slow as heck.Opening google maps on this phone will drive you insane as it takes literally 45 seconds to load. It is the slowest phone I have ever used and I will now only use it as a work/travel phone. This is honestly a phone only to be used in emergencies, as a back up, or as a travel phone. DO not attempt to use this as a daily phone because you will lose your mind.

Like new. Works great. Long battery. Fast.
I bought this phone to replace my 4 year old Motorola Turbo 2 that was a Verizon phone. Phone came looking brand new. It does not come with earphones. I bought $8 Panasonic Ergofits. They sound great for the price. I just took the sim card out of the Turbo 2 and put it in this Moto 5 tray (TOOL is INCLUDED to open tray). Turned on phone, it went through the usual setup and was connected to the Verizon network. Very easy. After that it took about 25 minutes to download updates including system update from Android 8 to 8.1.0. Updates took awhile but then you are good to go and all updated.Screen is sharp and bright bright bright! Good sound. Audio can be turned up pretty loud. Camera isn't the best if you want to be artsy, but definetly good enough for texting and Instagram.Only has 16GB, but when I bought the phone I also spent $11.99 and bought a Samsung 64GB MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card to add all my music. It dropped right into the same tray as the sim card.I also spent $7.99 and bought the Motorola Moto E5 Case (XT1920DL) YMH Durable Armor. It is shown in the picture.Battery life while on standby lasts for days.Very happy with this phone for $90!

Nice Android!
I've had this phone for 1 week and so far I'm really enjoying it. I have owned 2 similar phones made by other companies that were more expensive that were not as good. My Umadigi android didn't hold a charge as long as this one does. I'm on day 4 without charging and I still have 50% batt left even after several updates installed. The sound quality is very nice. People on the other end say my voice is clear and the tone is good. I have a hearing disability yet I can understand people calling without ear buds. I will use wireless ear buds though because all android phones are not safe to use close to your head due to the microwave radiation.I also purchased the case for this phone which is perfect in my opinion. For a low cost phone I think I've got superior quality. I'll just have to hope the phone performs well over the long haul. If not, I will update this post.
