Game-Changer for Golfers of All Levels
The Blast Golf Swing and Stroke Analyzer has been an incredible tool for our family. Originally recommended by our daughter’s college golf coach, it has been a game-changer for improving her putting tempo. Its real-time feedback and data are easy to understand, making it a valuable asset for fine-tuning her game.We were so impressed that we purchased additional units for other family members in high school, helping them refine their skills as they work toward playing at the college level. The analyzer’s versatility and accuracy make it ideal for golfers at any stage. If you're serious about improving your game, this is a must-have!

Comparing with Swingtalk
Compared with Swingtalk, it has the following pros and cons:Pros: (1) Coordinate with video taken from IOS devices to show swings without human interfaces once it is started; (2) More stable sensor placed on a club but it still moves in a less amount during impacts; (3) Store swing data in the sensor when no device is connected; (4) The battery last much longer than Swingtalk;Cons: (1) No intermediate response from IOS with speech such as Swingtalk. You have to go to the device to check your swing data; (2) Less swing data shown as compared with Swingtalk; (3) Only works on driver and putter. It is not true that it can work on irons because there is no such a selection in the app and if we choose to swing an iron by selecting driver option, then the data, such as swing speed, shown would be incorrect because of incorrect data of the club length etc; (4) Difficult to align the sensor with the club face perfectly. As suggested to Swingtalk, the device should be able to show the club face angle on the device when the user considers the angle is square or zero so that the user can adjust the device to match with the sensor;

Very inconsistent
I had bought this for 2 purposes and have use it for a few months now.1) The first purpose was to measure my face angle at impact as it is well known that if putter face is open 2 degrees at impact will miss the hole from 5 feet! For a putt to go in at 8 feet, the angle of the face needs to less than 1 degree open or closed to the target. Increase the distance to 15 feet and the putter face needs to less than 0.5 degrees open or closed to the target for the putt to go in. So, as an example, I holed the putt from 8 feet and the Blast Motion was measuring a face angle of 2.4 degree open- which is impossible! At times, when I hole it, it will read 0.4 open, which is then credible. The software needs to be updated or revised as it is inconsistent & thus frustrating if you are working on something. Tempo metrics may be acceptable, but less useful.2) The second purpose is to measure the Angle of Attack with my Driver. It is well known that to maximize distance with your driver, hitting up on the ball (positive attack angle) is a must. The driver’s loft should be chosen so that it complements the golfer’s attack angle and club speed. In my case, I was hoping to get to 3-5 degree upwards. Even with good shots with positive angle of attack as measured with the launch monitor; Blast Motion will show a negative AOA. With the irons, it is more consistent and shows negative AOA. As such, Blast Motion seriously need to update either the software or naybe even the Gen3 hardware.In summary, a good idea but needs more work to be beneficial. However, the teaching tutorials are well organized and that is their saving grace. It may confuse the novice golfer and you have to interpret the data with caution.

Stay away until it gets better
The first week of usage was amazing. It worked as described by the manufacturer. However, after a week or so, the sensor wouldn’t work. It would be connected but not functional. It would record the putting every now and then. It was frustrating. I returned the product. It has a lot of information and data when it worked. The idea and concept is on point but the technology needs to improve to be effective.

Great Putting Analysis
I purchased this item to help me with my putter face at impact to roll the ball on my line. Not knowing that there are several other metrics that are useful. I have not used it for my short game or full swing yet due to surgery. For now, I plan to work on my game in reverse. I highly recommend this Swing and Stroke Analyzer due to how close to accurate it is. Not to verse on the metric numbers but Customer Service sent me a range guide of the metrics to identify where the average should be. It also rates your performance on a handicap system. Customer Service can initially be contacted via and quick to respond back email or phone call. Highly Recommend the Blast Golf Swing and Stroke Analyzer.

This device is awesome. Im about 1200 strokes of practice in and it has helped me solve some issues with my putting that have plagued me for years (pulls.) I haven't used it for full swing, but that's not what I bought it for. You only need a space as big as your stroke to use it. Works great. I'm not recommending it to my friends because I don't want them to beat me.The measurement of face rotation change is invaluable in putting. Its 33% of making a putt and probably the hardest to master.It helps having some knowledge of what these numbers mean. In my case I developed a nasty habit of letting the clubhead get infront of my hands and that caused me to pull the ball. I had no idea what was causing my pulls until I bought this. It read that I was increasing my loft in the stroke by 3 degrees and I was able to deduce that this was caused by the putter getting past my hands and causing the face to shut. Definitely worth the money if you're struggling with the flatstick.
