Installed easily with no fuss, no muss and no bother as they say
Once I had QB2020 installed I could instal MacOS Catalina. No problems at all with either installation other than a few programs that will not work with Catalina.I am still annoyed with Intuit in that I only use QB for about 5 credit cards and 6 banks - all personal having retired over 21 years ago. I just happen (as a CPA) like to work with debits and credits and did not want to give up 13 years of data that I use for reference purposes. They should really have a trimmed down version at a much lower cost for old geezers like me (age 77- seniors discount) who don't need about 80% of the features.

Easy to install but buy on Amazon
I had to upgrade to this version of Quickbooks before upgrading my Mac to Catalina. Amazon had the best deal and it was simple to install and convert the old files. It was simple to add my data to iCloud so I could run QB on all my devices. I do like the look of the new version but don’t care about any additional functionality since my needs are basic. 4 stars since I hate the planned obsolescence every 3 or 4 years. But definitely buy on Amazon since it is cheaper and easier to install.

Great Accounting Software
This is a masterpiece of software. If you run a small business and you are not using Quickbooks, you are doing yourself a major disservice. The windows version is better from a graphic and layout standpoint, and has a few more features, ie accountant copy that syncs. But on the whole I cannot live without it and I just switched to the MAC version. It is quite doable, but I do miss the windows features and design. I am not regretting making the change.

I trapped in the Quickbooks world
If my 15 years of business accounting could be easily transferred to another software company I would do it. But, I am trapped in the Quickbooks world. The only reason I upgraded is that the new Mac OS Catalina would not work with old 32 bit Quickbooks.

Planned Obsolescence -- RIP QB for Mac 2016
I have to upgrade my Quickbooks for Mac every 4 years. It gets the job done and I only use the most basic features. But, whenever there is a big macOS update, Intuit will stop supporting its older version(s). I understand why. Maybe I should just stick with Mojave?4 stars for being a consistent workhorse, and thanks Amazon for the more reasonable price vs. direct from Intuit.

Great price, full version
This was a full product. I’m not sure why there were bad reviews. It was a simple download and install. I switched to a Mac from a PC And so far it’s working great! Typical Intuit won’t let me bring forward an older version but that would have eventually occurred with the PC too. Better price than Intuit.

Do not support this company
I just installed QB2020 because I was bullied into buying it for fear that my perfectly valid older version might not work with my current OS. It is impossible to verify that and even if the risk is very low, it's not worth the hassle, so I paid up. It is still extortion and I resent it.But when I started the new version, I had to set up new passwords that it would deem strong enough. WTF? This is running on my private machine, I am not using any of the online services, why does it care what password I use? Then I have to answer all kinds of questions about the business and there is no valid reason why Intuit should get this information. Why are they collecting this data? Of course, there is a privacy policy somewhere, and I am sure, if I had a few hours to waste, I could find what they will do with that information. If I had even more time to waste, I could probably request that they do not use, sell, or share this information as they see fit, most likely by sending a certified letter with the exact proper wording to some hidden address. But why should I have to waste my time just to protect my privacy?I don't expect any answer to these rhetorical questions. We all know that it is simply a quasi monopoly exercising its power over its customers, and we are the ones to blame for allowing them.

Best available price for a software upgrade I wish I didn't need.
The software is OK but the fact that their previous versions don't work with Catalina on a MAC sucks. Seems to be a great way to force people to spend more money on something that is not really much of an improvement. I gave it 3 stars because it does what it says it will but only 3 stars because, for me there is nothing about it that has changed except that it works in the latest macOS.
