Purchased with the idea that it would assist me in making my handmade books. Cutting paper and cardstock are of paramount importance. So far ...1. The bluetooth does not work. I did the trouble shooting and the drivers on my laptop are up to date. Trouble shooting recommends that I purchase a new bluetooth for my laptop. Don't think I will do this.2. The machine does not cut anything. The pen attachment works fine but I don't really need this feature. I've tried to cut several types of materials from copier paper to normal scrapbooking paper. The best I get is a score mark. I have yet to be able to get it to cut through anything. Yes I've tried adjusting depth and force and number of times it cuts. Nothing but a score mark. Tomorrow my deep cut blade arrives and I will try this rather than the autoblade (which is a misnomer) that came with the machine.3. The autoblade is supposed to adjust itself depending on the setting you choose in the software. It does not. It goes through the motions, I suppose that's what it is doing, but nothing changes. Perhaps this is why it doesn't cut. Don't know if the blade or the machine is at fault. Will try a new blade...I've saved the box...UPDATE:1. The bluetooth still does not work and I have been informed by several user's groups that this is common. Better to stick with the USB cable. OK. I can live with that.2. The autoblade is working. Turns out that somewhat more force is required to set the blade into the carrier than what I was comfortable with. Once the blade is properly inserted into the carrier, the thing works just find.3. Software! Not intuitive and I've worked with "similar" software before. To be fair, I haven't yet plowed my way through the documentation but so far, the software gets a low pass from this one-time software development teacher. Pass because I can get it to do some of the things I want. Low pass because it took a bit of trial and error to make it happen. I'll be back when I've had more time to look through the documentation.I'm still keeping the box though not for returns but for potential repairs.

I got this so I could cut stickers for my small business. I thought I'd follow a tutorial and be cutting in no time, and boy was I wrong! This thing takes some experimentation before you finally know which settings to use for your project. Also, fair warning: the bluetooth on these things does NOT work out of the box. You will have to get a dongle if you want to use bluetooth, but no worries, there are several reddit threads explaining what to look for. All that being said, now that I have figured out my settings and bluetooth, I am IN LOVE with this machine. A great purchase all around! Just cutting all sorts of stickers over here.

I had a Cricut Maker and was frustrated with it not cutting my sticker sheets accurately so I bought a little Portrait 3. I love that machine so much, so I sold my Maker and bought this Cameo 4 and it works flawlessly. The Bluetooth is so much better (I have to have my machine across the room from my computer) than the Cricut. This is loud like my portrait, but I don't even care about the noise on either machine because they work so well! The software in and of itself its worth the money. I do recommend upgrading from the free version to the next one up, it's worth it. I like that this does everything the Maker does (and does it better from my experience) for less money. I honestly don't understand the hype around Cricut. It's like an Apple-fan-boy thing, they put value in the name instead of the machine doing it's job correctly. If you are on the fence between Cricut and Silhouette, I HIGHLY recommend going with Silhouette. The software is lightyears ahead of Cricut and I don't have to be connected to the internet to use it (which was an issue for me living in a rural area). I can't say enough good things about this brand.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! I have yet to be able to utilize this machine. When I first got it, I was so excited, my friend said it's great. Well, I downloaded the software, made my first library "store" purchase, then followed the instructions to sync my library to my workspace... it did not work! I kept getting error messages, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, still nothing. I looked everywhere for a phone number to call for help... nope just a bot assistance available NO PERSON EVER! I received an email 2 weeks after my request that they know there's an issue, they're working on it. Another month or longer has gone by and received an email that it is fixed. Excited again, I uninstalled and reinstalled again as directed to get it to sync my library. Well yet again, it did not sync my entire library. I tried the uninstall/reinstall crap again and still not my full library and still unable to use the stupid machine. I paid $200 for a POS to sit on a shelf and not use. I also cannot return now because it is past the date Amazon allowed. I have yet again submitted another ticket via the dang bot bs. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!! My niece gave me a Cricut, and it has been fabulous!
