should have done this years ago
I've been struggling with a cracked pool step for a few years. I've used two step epoxy sticks and flextape, and other quick fixes. I finally got fed up when the step developed a new crack. this stuff is awesome. I applied white pigment for epoxy before I added the hardener to the epoxy and stirred well. I added the hardener as stated in the directions. I also used this 3m bondo fiberglass cloth just to give extra trength because the step seems hollow underneath and dips in the middle. worked out great. the directions state it has a 12 minute work time after the hardener is added. poured well and covers easily with a cheap paint brush. it hardened in just an hour. cure time is 2 hours. the key is to stir for several minutes after the hardener is added. don't be lazy in this step. it has to thoroughly be mixed, paying close attention to get the bottom of the container you use to mix it in. if you don't, the stuff on the bottom, after you pour, will be on top after pouring and will be tacky and not cure properly if you don't mix it thoroughly. i am very pleased. it's easy to use. i cut this to size, poured a thin layer of epoxy, then laid the cloth. i poured another thin layer of epoxy over it and brushed the epoxy into the cloth, saturating it and removing air pockets. then i poured the rest of the epoxy to cover the whole project. the step is strong and waterproof now. all cracks have been fixed and reinforced by this cloth and epoxy.

Good fair price
Great fiberglass cloth good quality big 8 ft cloth that covers a big surface 👌 or makes a really thick smaller surface area with layers I tend to double layer these cloths or sometimes triple layer for a stronger strength this stuff works great with proper installation

Works
Works as advertised. I needed mat instead of cloth but it will do.

Good for big jobs
Good for big jobs. For smaller jobs go with fiberglass "tape" measured to your width needs.

Great product for a great price
I had a problem with my bathtub and shower, I had a crack, the cost to replace the whole bathtub and shower unit was close to 1800 period.I bought Bondo glass short Strand,Bondo Fiberglass ResinBondo All-Purpose Putty, andBondo Fiberglass ClothBondo Glass, Short Strand Reinforced Fiberglass Filler.I followed the instructions that’s available on YouTube and I applied to each one of them in the proper sequence Then I applied the primer paint and final paint.I was able to fix the defect. The total cost is $126 for everything. They saved me more than $1400.The only small problem that I had at the final coat of paint does not match the rest of the bathtub color.I highly recommend these products. If you use them try to follow the instructions that’s written on the item from outside exactly.Try to be patient with sanding. Make sure that each layer is sanded properly before you move to the next coat.I also had a ceramic tile that was broke.Instead of replacing it, I applied the same materials and got good resultPlease see the attached pictures.Thank you.

Great Reinforcement
I bought this to wrap around a rotating TV antenna I purchased here about 3 times. The antenna recieves signals over 200 miles away, but the plastic mounting where it is mounted to the metal pole has broken twice so I bought the fiberglass mesh and mixed epoxy ro reinforce it. Being exposed to the sun and high winds ha e broken a few so I reinforced it. Great product.
