Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 & Premiere Elements 2020 [PC/Mac Disc]

First of all the Windows 10 Computer that this was installed on far exceeded the stated requirements for this software. I cannot say how extremely disappointed I am in this Adobe release. After using Elements 11 for years with almost no problem I bought into the hype of this supposed new and improved product. After taking nearly forty five minutes to install - the software has done nothing but freeze up and operate in the slowest manner I have ever seen any software perform. My catalog of 10,000 photos was not a problem for Lightroom or Elements version 11 but this ribbon dazzled overhyped software is seemingly impractical to use. It takes way too long to open one photo from a file and then they program will often freeze up or go to a blank screen. Do not waste your money on this product.

I have owned and used Photoshop Elements (and Premiere Elements) all the way back to the beginning. I started with Photoshop 1, then upgraded to 5, then 9. Now, with windows 10, I upgraded to Photoshop 2020. It works very similar to all the previous versions, just with a few new features and a slightly different GUI. It still does a great job. Photoshop Elements, in my opinion, is not for the casual user. It is very powerful and can do many things, and as a result is complicated to use. I have spent many hundreds of hours using it program, so am quite capable. The reason for the 4 stars is Photoshop 2020 no longer supports .eps (encapsulated post script) files. A design tool I use frequently creates .eps files and I used to edit them in photoshop, I can no longer do this. Why do software companies remove capability from their programs?

I've used the full version of photoshop for over a decade and for the past few years paid the subscription fee for it. But, thought I would try ELEMENTS to see if it would meet my needs. I'm not a professional photographer, but I am an artist and I need to take art photos and then remove the background so they can be posted on the web. I did my research and it looked like I'd be able to do that effectively with Elements, but at least for me, it just didn't seem to do as good a job as the full version, so I've gone back to subscribing to the full version. This may not be everyones' experience and I can see how ELEMENTS would make so many cool things possible for a novice user that wanted more direction and step by step direction in order to do things.

What a terrible product. It worked fine for less than a month, then I update it and the next thing you know, it stopped working at all, won’t open, can’t do anything. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, didn’t work. Tried tech support and they never helped me. Don’t waste your money, this is only good for a few days and that’s it. Save yourself the headache, it’s garbage.

Instructions are needed in the package for those who are using this software for the first time.

Had problem in installing the product. Adobe’s Technical support was terrible! Not able to help. What’s made me angry was that they ruined your computer by deleting many of my software, making the machine unusable that I needed to pay extra for to reinstall my PC to get it work again. I think people should think carefully when buying software from Adobe!

A new version comes out each year so I usually wait 2 or 3 years before upgrading. I was interested in the B&W colorizer on this version. It works good on some photos and not so good on others. Not sure why but it's kind of hit or miss. I am glad I got it, though.

So frustrated! I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and Premier on DVD, from what seemed to be Adobe!... downloaded it, it seemed to work fine until I attempt to try it today and it says my trial is up and the serial number i am using is a fraud!?! Adobe gives no solution to the problem except to buy it again! By all appearances this product should be legit... BUYERS BE AWARE!

Très mauvaise expérience, le cd acheté sur Amazon pour Adobe Elements Photoshop 2020 & Premier Elements 2020ne termine jamais l'installation sur mon Mac donc très très inutile. Je suis très déçu j'en avais besoin pour un projetdu Jour de L'an. Aujourd'hui 30 Décembre j'ai essayé de contacter Adobe et ils sont fermé.Je crois que je vais retourner cette commande inutile.

This is my 4th edition of Elements and Photoshop. So far haven't noted any big difference over the 2018 version but Photoshop does have a few new cool features. I find both to be excellent editing software for the amateur to create some incredible images and amazing videos with lots of effects. They both can be difficult to learn, but searching tutorials and just experimenting with all the options, and a lot of time, can yield some nice results. Also, you will need a fairly fast PC, lots of RAM and HD space for the best results. A 4 of 5 only because of the little instructive help supplied.

It's been about a month since I received the software. It's a case of so far so good and as a previous user of the full Photoshop version, it didn't take me too long to get used to the layouts of both software. Can't think of any problems at the moment aside from the learning curve with Premiere Elements. Fortunately there are a good number of videos about it on YoiuTube and I'm managing slowly but surely on that.

I've been using Photoshop 7 that came out in 2001-2002ish. So this was a huge move for me. New tools to learn, menu's are setup differently, fun times.I love the new 2020 Photoshop & Premiere Elements.
