Great
Let me start by saying, this is a great poncho! It is thicker than the usual garbage bag style ponchos and it is surprisingly good quality for the price. The hood comes with an adjustable strap so you can tighten it up and not let the wind blow it away.I went backpacking in the rain forest in Puerto Rico and this thing saved me from sleeping in a cold wet sleeping bag! There are always space issues when you go backpacking so of course you tie things like your sleeping bag and yoga mat on your backpack. Not to mention your second pair of shoes which is supposed to dry off while your hiking to the next camp sight. And all of a sudden it starts pouring down... cuz you're in a rain forest, duh!I kept this in the side pocket of my backpack for easy access. Whenever it started pouring down all of a sudden, I would just reach out and grab it.I'm 5' 6'', 120 lb and my backpack is pretty big. The poncho was big enough to cover both me and the backpack and keep me dry.It is good quality, I used it almost every day for about a week. It stood up to the challenge marvelously.I managed to poke a couple of holes in it but that was because I would get caught on thorns during the bush wack hike. But still, I put this poncho thru hell and it survived.I didn't bother bringing it back as I thought I would just get a new one next time I go hiking. But I could have kept it and reused it for next time.

Great for what it is- disposable
Its disposable. Its not meant to be anything but. That being said, its still a good poncho. I've found that there are 2 types of ponchos- the military-style "blousy" ones, and the ones that are more "jacket" like. This is the jacket-like style, and can't really be used as a shelter in an emergency situation. It does, however, come with a little string, which might be handy should SHTF. I use them in my truck, travel bag and work bag and I even received compliments on them a few times (once from friends at the beginning of a road race when it started to rain very hard and I handed out the ponchos in my truck, and once from everyone at a Patriots game who were getting soaked by the sideways rain that went through the open sides of their military-style cheap plastic clear ponchos). One big down-side to these ponchos, tho, is that they don't breathe well, and it can get a bit sticky in there if you are wearing it on the go.

Good value & versatility- fits and works
The poncho we used fit over 4 layers & heavy hooded coat plus helmet- long enough to keep most of your lower half dry even in slant-driven rain. Excess plastic flaps/pulls like a sail for smaller users in heavy wind- which the drawstring hood helps for. If you're carrying gear you might easily stretch-rip holes in the thin plastic (better than split-rip though, and a fair tradeoff for its compact/disposable nature, plus better mobility than wearing a heavier raincoat)- but we got a few uses from one before several holes were snagged by an ice pick going to and from its holster. Did its job well even in the conditions we put it through.

Ripped While Taking It Out of the Bag
it was so thin that it was see through. a grocery bag is thicker than the material. It ripped as i was taking it out of its (thicker) packaging haha!

Keeps you dry, packs down small, love the draw-string hood
I purchased these ponchos to go in my backpacking gear, football game stadium seats and get-home bag. Things I really like: It packs down small. The draw-string hood sets this apart from other throw-away ponchos. It's big enough to mostly cover a backpack. It WILL keep the rain off of you. What I don't like: It's not particularly tough (it tears easily), but it's DISPOSABLE.All-in-all a nice product that will keep you dry when you have nothing else.

drawstring hood is the key
Got these to test for our walking pilgrimage trip to santiago de compostela. Big enough to cover a back pack, and more important was the drawstring hood. I had purchased some other brands that work only if you are still in a non windy area (like a stadium). This brand is kinda thin but worked to keep me dry. Would tear easily if not careful but works if walking in rain. Plan to order more to have a new one each day of rain (of course who knows when it will rain?)

Great in a pinch
My girlfriend and I have used these in 2012 and 2013 at the Montreal Grand Prix. Really wish we had them for 2011. If rain is less likely they fit in her purse vs. our dedicated wet race dry bag. They are quick to put on and baggy enough to cover backpacks or purses. In driving rain you're legs and shoes will be soaked. Vast improvement over drenched from head to toe. Added bonus is that you can use them to keep seats dry, or spread them out to avoid damp behinds.

Not what I expected!
We were looking for some emergency ponchos for friends coming to visit us in Florida. The daily rain showers can temporarily disrupt things so we bought 4 of these for the folks coming to visit. I "thought" we were going to get slightly better than saran wrap but boy were we wrong. They are just about saran wrap at best. Granted we wanted easy to carry and light weight but this is down right wrong. We could wrap our friends in saran wrap and do just as well. We will keep them for under our car seat or perhaps to cover food at a picnic but that is it. Heck I thought they would even have a little pouch to put them in when done. Nope.... We'll be looking for some more ponchos for our friends.

Keeping dry and staying that way
The plastic material used to make the ponchos is sturdy enough to keep one dry in moderately unpleasant weather. The poncho is tough enough to be hung out to dry and refolded and used again with moderate care. I have shared some to friends who all mentioned how surprisingly effective they were.

Bueno para su costo
Llegó en tiempo, son delgados pero para el precio están muy bien, se pueden usar dos o tres veces siempre que no los rasgues, si te sacan de una emergencia

Is ok - pretty thin material
Pretty basic item. You can find these a little cheaper in camping stores, if you wanted to compare prices. it's not really going to hold up for more than 1-3 uses, but it's tiny and is good to keep in the camping supply box for emergencies.
