As clips, they hold things. So that's good.
These definitely do accomplish the purpose of holding things. The springs in the clips are a little bit tighter than they'd need to be, which is good. The hooks are secure in that they don't divorce themselves from the hook body. The hooks have significant degrees of freedom: they move into and out of the clip body, they rotate freely, and they tilt off axis to around 45 degrees. As far as the number you get, I used one package of these to attach an 82-ft string light. For minimal coverage, I used about a quarter of the package. After going back to add redundancy, I'd only used half the package (less than 50). You get plenty and they're rather inexpensive. I'm planning on using the rest for hanging a backdrop sheet for videoconferencing. There is one issue with these. The clips come sealed in place, probably as a product of the coating on the metal. They need to be broken free before they can be used. Doing this by hand is painful because you seem to always end up with the pointy end of the hook jammed into your finger. I found a Channel-lok worked great, but did leave slight tooling marks on the clips. This issue is not critical, and once the clips have been broken open, they operate just fine by hand.

Used for a DIY project and came out great!
These did exactly what I envisioned! I used the clamp end to attach to my outside siding border and hung my string lights on the hooks. They are very sturdy and it takes some strength to open, which was what I wanted to be able to keep them attached to the metal surface. So far so good they don't look like they will slide off and the clamps have a very firm grip. Perfect size. Loved the sleek shiny black. This made my DIY project possible without putting any holes in the stucco walls!

Work great!
First I don't know why the pic is sideways! I didn't do that! 😊As you can see I used these clips on the herb/flower drying rack I made out of two wire plant holders. They worked perfectly to hang each bundle for drying. The first time you open each clip, they are a little hard to open, but after that initial time it is much easier, but they hold really well.

These clips work well
I used these clips to attach curtains to runners on a curtain rod. These particular clips are very inexpensive, but they worked very well. You shouldn't expect to use the small clips on a large rod--there are ring + clip sets for that. But these have a clip strong enough to hold on to the curtains and are strong enough to collectively bear the weight. There is a coating on the clips, which I appreciate, that may also stick a little when the clip is opened for the first time, but they work fine. They are small, just right for my use. If you want bigger clips, you should buy bigger clips. These are working well for me.

So versatile!
I ordered these little clips over the summer to hang string lights on my patio. I clipped the teeth to the soffit along the back of my house and draped the light wire over the small hook. They held extremely well and were not very noticeable at all. I have since used them to hang key rings, added them to the edge of a wire rack in my laundry room to hang dry my face masks and about 20 other purposes around the house. They are incredibly versatile and very well made. The spring is strong and attaches well. The opening isn't very big but they are perfect for small jobs and clipping to thin items. I'm sure I'll continue to find uses for them and may need to order more than the 100 I got as I decorate for the holidays. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Great once you get them open
Let me start by saying, I read the reviews and saw these clips were a bit tough to open initially. What I didn’t expect was to hurt my thumb to get them open! After trying to open a few I got discouraged and asked my husband for help. Even he had trouble and he’s very strong! He had to get one of his knives and we went through all 100 and had 6 open by themselves. Now that they’re open I’m excited to finally get to use them. They are very small, but I knew they would be. They’ll be great for my craft fairs!!

Great sturdy clips that hold up!
I purchased these to hang Christmas lights. We don’t have gutters or shingles, so these clipped onto the flashing well. It rained several days during use and no signs of rust on the clips. They went up and came down easily.Major tip: wear gloves when you first open the clips. It seems that during the coating/drying process the teeth actually get mildly fused together, so they take quite a bit of force to open that first time. Makes it easy to hurt your fingers, and you can also poke yourself on the hooks when they finally give way. This had me concerned of a higher risk of rust, but that didn’t seem to be the case.

Good price point for high utility item
Fit well to rolling trolly curtain setupUsed with random fabric results are surprising.Strong enough for my three to four foot painter tarp installation using about six inch spacing.Use additional screw edge retention near clips in heavy curtain or trolly track will disengage from clips.Happy to adapt capabilities to my requirement. As if I wished for this and here it is!I have to stop doing that! LOL Hope it works for you.
