Great tactile feel
The dimensions are accurate, and the clicking sound and feel are very good. not mushy or has issues clicking.overall height is 5mm disregarding the metal connection points.overall height after depressing the button is 4.8mm so it does down 0.2mmthe button diameter is 3.5mm

They're cheap, there's lots of them, and they work
My title says it all. I have a ton of 12x12mm momentary push buttons, but specifically needed this size for a PCB I picked up, and now I prefer this smaller size of button for just about everything. Haven't come across any that don't work yet. No complaints.For anybody new to these 4-pin push buttons, I'm including the diagram that always helps me. Pins 1 and 2 are *always* connected, regardless of the button being pressed. Same thing with 3 and 4. So if you're hoping to detect a button press with an Arduino-type device, you should connect pin 1 to a GPIO and pin 4 to ground. You can also connect pin 1 to GPIO and pin 3 to ground for the same effect. Hope this helps!

NOT a DPST switch
This is a SPST switch. There are two SPST switches internally wired in parallel.IT IS NOT A DPST SWITCH.

Very well-made and we are 100% happy
We were previously using micro switches with a much lower amperage rating. We continually had problems with those switches during the soldering process. Their mechanisms were much weaker and they were very difficult to remove and to re-solder a new one. The new switches are 100 times better. They are rated for a higher amperage and the leads allow us to Solder them onto boards with no problem.

Strong tactile feel, but not excessive
To me the 6 x 6 x 5 mm values in the description are not what you really need to know. They are just the outside dimensions of the switch (5 is vertical). The pins fit nicely in holes spaced 6.6 mm by 4.6 mm (around 0.250 x 0.175"), one of the most common footprints for this type of switch. Note that these are not exact values, just what I read off from my PCB design software. Applying a micrometer to the pins I get 4.3 mm for the smaller dimension. A datasheet for a similar brand-name switch says 6.5 x 4.5 mm plus or minus 0.1. The legs flex, so there is room for error.I agree with those who say these aren't suited for breadboards, but that's not how I use them.I don't have a great way to measure force, but I'd guess these take at least 5 times as much force to operate compared to my last batch from a different vendor. It's still not much force, and certainly would not damage a circuit board or any reasonable way of mounting one. The click is quite audible - how much click is good is a matter of taste.I can't address reliability, but the first one works fine.Suggestion for sellers: just include the datasheet, and then we don't have to guess and write long-winded reviews!

Works great as replacement for Line 6 Helix footswitch
I had a friend of mine bring me his Line 6 Helix LT because some of the foot switches would no longer activate. I pulled it apart and found that these small tactile foot switches were no longer making contact. Pulled the old ones off the PCB board and replaced them with these and am happy to say they work beautifully! They are a direct replacement. Footswitch function has been restored and works like new. Just make sure that you test each switch with a meter for continuity before you solder them in. I didn’t find one that was bad but you never know.
