Works beautifully now for over a month.
I can't ask for more; at 1/3 the cost of buying it locally, it was worth waiting a week to get it. It was pretty easy to install on my 4runner from 2002.

Not reliable at all. Didn’t last a month
Bought this for my 1998 Tacoma (second vehicle) replaced the starter 3 weeks ago. I have driven the truck twice since replacing and the starter worked fine. Went to start it yesterday and the starter is now dead. If you are looking to replace I would recommend buying local or buying a different unit. This one didn’t even last 4 start cycles.

Bolts right on, starts the truck. Doesn’t come with bolts or anything so you have to keep the old ones around.

Fits good on 3.4 Tacoma
It was a pain for me to get the old starter out finding the exact position to slide it out of the engine bay and to get new on in but the starter fit good and has been working good for atleast 6 months with no problems

Worked on the first try and it spins pretty fast. This is a good buy.
It works which is what I wanted. I didn't realize that the old starter was spinning so slow. This starter spins pretty quick. It spins fast as if I had put in a new battery. I don't know if I will keep my 1997 4Runner long enough until this starter wears out. The factory starter lasted until 235k miles. The Denso rebuilt one lasted 165k miles. This starter is a new unit so maybe it might last longer than the rebuilt one I put in years ago. No complaints and certainly can't beat the price. This is a bargain and as they said in their advertisement. They sell direct and eliminate the middle man. Which would probably boost the price up to at least $150. Maybe I'll start looking at buying DB Electric parts for my other cars.
