I used my digital calipers to compare these to a new OEM I had in the parts drawer. exact same in every way, less than 0.1mm difference in dimensions between Dorman and Subaru part. looks, smells, and tastes just like OEM.OD=21.1mmID=16.2mmthickness=2.5mmedge width=2.8mmI use this washer for my 2015 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Forester (non turbo). if you are looking for the washer for the 6-cylinder H6 engine, you may want to check out Dorman 095-142, which works perfectly for my 2004 H6 Outback.At this price, it would be foolish not to use a new crush washer when you reinstall your drain plug.

I had picked up 10 crush gaskets and 10 filters from the Subaru dealership when the warranty was up on my wife's 2012 Forester (2.5 H4 / NA / PZEV). She loves that thing to death, so eventually, I ran out of parts.I knew Amazon would get me the parts I needed faster than I'd get them if I ordered more from a dealership, and I decided to give these a try. Although Amazon's part finder says that these don't fit a 2012 Forester, they absolutely do. I confirmed with Dorman's parts guide before ordering.As far as I can tell, side-by-side, these are identical in size and construction to OEM Subaru parts. They fit the drain plug perfectly, they crush properly. No leaks, no trouble.I just wish Amazon carried the same Dorman part for my Acura!

Dorman Products manufactures their parts to meet or (in many cases) exceed OEM specs. I measured these with a digital caliper and they are the exact dimensions of the Subaru #803916010 crush washer which I have been using for five years on our 2015 Forester. These do the same job for less money. You can’t go wrong with Dorman.

The oil seal on the drain plug of a Scion FRS is inherently designed to "squish".I was used to a seal lasting almost the life of the car. Buy a pack of 12 if you change the oil in your own car. Much better than paying $12 apiece at the Stealership.Scion has designed this as a one time use seal. I find I can get 2 or 3 out of them if you are a bit gentle.

works great on a Subaru Impreza, bought it used and some oil change place had put some random flat washer on and way over torqued the drain plug to keep it from leaking. So I changed the oil for the first time using the wrong washer and it leaked, needed a crush washer.

Gaskets seem fine, although there were only 9/10 in the box (none stuck in packaging or otherwise). They were loose in a small cardboard box and could easily slip out. Not a big deal but oh well.

These are all rusted and pitted. Not worth any amount of money no matter how cheap

Seeing a small amount of oil leaking from drain plug after switching from NAPA to this gasket. Would not recommend.

Fits my 2015 Subaru Forester just fine. A bit expensive, but I cant seem to find these locally for under $3 each so this is my next best bet. While I don't really need 10, I dont have to worry anymore about finding one closer to oil change time.

Fits my Scion FR-S, haven’t noticed any leaking. I never used to replace these seals in my cars until a seal with 200,000km of changes started leaking (original seal). It’s a lot easier to replace it every time than replace a leaking one

The Amazon part compatibility check failed here as it showed that this fits my '11 Impreza STI. However the gaskets were M14 (fits newer models, Forester, FR-S, etc.), not M20 as required by STI. I gave it two stars as I have a Forester and will use this at some point, but the vehicle compatibility list should be updated.

It’s crazy what some places want for these. I’ve never had one fail or not work as expected so cost is the deciding factor and these fit the bill. Use a new one for every oil chance.
