I am really happy with this radiator cap. I can see and read it while riding on my 2016 KLR650. It shows the temp of the coolant as it enters the radiator, while the dashboard gauge tells the outgoing temp. Good information to know. Helps you understand what is going on, and gives you peace of mind that the cooling system is working properly. 5 stars. Mike.

I got this as a solution for my inoperative coolant temperature gauge on my motorcycle. Luckily, the radiator cap is easy to see from my riding position. Ended up being a great idea! It's easy enough to read, responds quickly (and accurately) to changes in coolant temp, and lets me know how things are going in there. Great option, and I highly recommend it to anyone building a cafe racer or dirt bike and who needs a good idea of what their coolant temp is like.

Did not rate accuracy because I have no way to verify that. It works well, and now I can monitor my bike temp while in the woods. I can easily glance down and see my temps and when they begin to climb and stay high, i stop and check for damage or blockage in airflow. At a minimum it's great peace of mind to be able to see what the temp is, even if it's not precision accuracy.

I didn’t see all of the reviews until after I bought it but figured I’d give it a chance. I installed it on my 07 wr450 supermoto and within 5 seconds of running the bike for the first time, it started dumping coolant out of the overflow. I thought maybe it was something with my bike but went back to my oem cap and it worked perfectly. I decided to try it again, as I really wanted a temp gauge for my bike because I ride my supermoto hard and Texas isn’t exactly considered “cool climate” so was excited to be able to keep an eye on temp, but just like the last time, it started pissing fluid out again. I went back to the oem cap and it stopped so I just tossed it back in the box and realized I wasted $$. Seems like quite a few others had the same issue with it. I sent seller a message but it’s been weeks and I haven’t heard back so I figured if I’m screwed at least maybe I can help someone else not make the same mistake.

Bought this so I could keep an eye on my Temps on my 2098 kawasaki klr650. Fit perfect and works great so far. I've only put about 1000 miles on it as of yet.
