Love it!
I got this trash can for a very small kitchen. I worried that it would open if I just was standing next to it. This didn’t happen. I actually have to put my hand over the top and it opens. Automatically closes.

Electric Eye=Hands Free Trash Can
Hands-free battery operated open/close. Not super fast so don’t drip something over thinking you are going to toss it in before it wets the floor/rug. It takes a little longer than an instant. Be patient and wait for thought-to-object transfer technology to be developed and use this in the meantime!

Great trash can but needs a plug in option!!
Great trash can and I would have given it 5 stars but it eats batteries and there is no plug option with this model. Otherwise I love it.
