Adjusting AM Step Value
Someone commented on the AM step value. Check item 6, page 9 of the instructions to adjust between 9khz and10khz. Should be set to 10khz in the US, Canada, and Mexico.FM works very well. It does pick up my local AM stations just fine.

Buen radio, calidad precio
Me encantó, diseño excelente, tamaño justo, funcional completamente. Todo el FM sin problema, como dicen AM si falla o no scanea correctamente, pero bien.

Great for FM Stereo, AM not so great.
FM is great! But the Radio does not allow precise tuning on AM. I have stations I listen to on AM, I cannot tune to 550, 1120, or 1480. It tunes close to it, but not good enough to give best sound and reception. It tunes 549, 1116, and 1485 Khz. That's fine if your stations are on those exact frequencies. It tunes other frequencies, but none in my area.

VR-robot AM/FM radio is tiny but serves the purpose quite well
No matter the photos on the product page, but when I first held this raid, I was surprised how small it is. It is small than many MP3 players of 20 years ago.Living in a big city, automatic presets filled up pretty quickly leaving out my favorite stations. I had to manually delete a lot of presets one by one and then set them up individually one by one. Took about 15 minutes to setup. I should have known and not used the automatic presets. This device does NOT have blue tooth capability. I connected this to a blue tooth player using a male-male audio cable. The setup works fine, but I have to remember to turn both of them off to prevent battery drainage.Battery lasts quite long, even though I haven't measured.Sound quality is not great - but in my setup a lot depends on the speaker's quality and the cable quality. Still, I found that the radio stations with this device sound inferior to music played via my phone using blue tooth connection. I am not quite sure if the inferior radio sound is attributable to the device.I definitely recommend this radio.

Don't buy
Completely useless. Only included the radio itself. No USB cable or earphones

Bad reception but great conversational piece
Well, it has quite a bit of static that comes and goes like the station is farrrrr away. I'd say maybe it's the station, but we ARE the station. The station tower is literally 200 feet from the studio where the radio is sitting. Lol.. How is that even possible? Initially we wanted it just to have a small headset as an additional audio reference while tweaking. We listen on everything from old cheap boom boxes to high end studio monitors while tweaking the airchain. We just keep it around as a conversation piece at this point. The FCC dropped in, we showed them we couldn't get our own station to come in and there must have been 20 jokes made about us needing to push more power at the transmitter. "Maybe the tower needs to be taller" etc.. Anything that gets the folks from the commission to laugh is okay with me. But we get static when we try to use it. Same for all stations, not just ours. I think maybe it's just the one we got. Because I've never seen a radio not pick up the station AT the station.

GREAT LITTLE RADIO, UNBELIEVABLE VALUE!
For well under twenty bucks, you can't expect much, right? Not the case with this little jewel! Somebody really did their homework when they designed this. The buttons are well laid out, the LCD is bright and clear, and the reception is as good as radios costing far more. After only five minutes, I'd auto scanned in all the AM and FM stations and had locked into memory all the ones I wanted to use. And using only a few button pushes allows updating the memory in seconds.Connecting this to an amplified speaker or a pair of headphones gives you amazingly clear stereo FM with loads of separation. Even the AM band was surprisingly sensitive, pulling in all the local stations as well as some from further away. Plus, it recharges very quickly from any USB port. This is a masterpiece of miniaturization along with sturdy construction and terrific function.

Good aounds, picks up all the local stations
Good little portable radio. Battery life ia good, sound is good. Just wanted something cheap to have some music when Im doing outdoor chores and not use a phone or worry if ai drop it. This fits the bill. Sound is good. Ear buds are so-so but its cheap so they are just fine.
