Sturdy little lamp stand. Looks more black than dark grey. Looks great with SD LUX black-blue glass pendant XXL vintage light bulb. Both are edison screw fittings.

Easy to make your own lamp
Loved the fact it just plugs in. You can convert anything to a lamp. I used a morrocan shade made for a candle. Looks.really lovely at night..

Work well in a Moroccan lantern
I bought this to use inside a Moroccan lantern as I was struggling to find an electric lighting kit to fit it. My lantern sat well over the lamp, my only gripe is that I still think the bulb sits a little too high inside the lantern, but that's more to do with my lantern than this lamp. It's the best of all of the options I've tried so far. I just wish the price wasn't inflated so much from the price it's sold at IKEA.
