This item arrived with no pole to hold it upright. This kind of defeats the purpose of the advertised “upright” tree.

I received this light package in good condition. I had a 10 ft 3/4 inch ID steel water pipe in which I cut groves on one end with a grinder that matched the cone frame that the star sets in for secure mounting. My advise is to set the light tree on the ground and bring the individual strings of lights out from the center. This will leave a crude circle of wire in the center. You attach this wire circle to the rim of the cone I referred to earlier with the white wire ties they supply with this package. You don't need this long of a pipe because you will bring the light strands out from the center of the pipe after you mount the cone with the star on top of the pipe to whatever distance you want the circumference of the tree to be. Adjust the depth of the pipe accordingly. There is a flash controller in the line that feeds power to the lights with a button in which you press to get the desired light flash setting you want. I chose to let them burn constantly. Looks really nice at night.

I ordered 2 to put in our front yard, but these do not come with the Center pole I need to stand it up, so we hung the 2 up on our big front tree and we like how they look around the big tree!

This thing didn’t even last through Christmas,You would think,If this is FOR THE OUTSIDE it would be waterproof!!!!!! It rained one day,steady rain, the next day,It wouldn’t work.The Star did.I fooled with the box that had the adjusting speeds on it had water in it ,but,the light would barely work. Until they would just stop!! So waste of money sure... but sure did love the Great job my hubby did in putting it up.. it looked great for 2weeks

Would Have liked to know what the height and diameter typically is. I will lay out this summer, if I remember, and try different settings to determine what looks best.

Stoped working! junk......only lasted about 2 weeks

I bought this last and just put it out 2 days ago, it sprinkled rain and it doesn't work anymore.. I do not recommend buying this product as it sure doesn't last long. I wished I would of read the reviews before I purchased this item.

Is great if you have an adjustable pole. Makes it easy to decide how wide you like it.
