Be sure to use this with both the algae remover and pond sludge remover and you will be pleased with the results. Thr products sells stating the 32oz bottle treats over 9,000 gallons. I get the bottle and it reads 32oz treats 4,730 gallons.

I was at a loss - after a spring cleaning and being careful with refilling, adding dechlorinating additive and more than adequate beneficial bacteria, a few weeks afterward the water was cloudy. All the numbers (ph, nh3, no2, po4, etc were all fine)... why the cloudiness?? So i purchased this product. Within 24 hours i did not notice much improvement so i added a second dose (24+ hours later). The next day i had clear water - i was so thrilled. It's been a week and the water is still clear. I will say i also added some "API POND-ZYME SLUDGE DESTROYER Pond Cleaner With Natural Pond Bacteria And Barley" at the same time - although there was really no sludge in the pond, so not sure if this made any difference or not with the clearing.My pond: zone 7; 1000 gallons above ground (with center hole for winter); one tough trooper baby koi hanging on, and now happily feeding as water temp is 50+ degrees.

First of all, I have been an Amazon Prime member for almost 20 years and I have maybe written one review, but this product was so amazing I had to take the time to tell you about it.For THREE YEARS I had tried EVERYTHING to clear up the water in my backyard water feature - a pond with a waterfall - and although some things, like 2 quarts of bleach plus an auxiliary pump filtering water through quilt batting (!), worked, nothing worked for very long. The water was so disgusting and it was so frustrating trying method after method that I was thinking of demolishing the pond. So sad! I love my pond!Then I tried API Pond Accu-Clear. It actually took several MONTHS of using it up to three times a week, but the water in my pond has been crystal clear for a month now and shows no signs of clouding up AT ALL without even using any product!!! The media could not be loaded. I have a well-established pond that is 17'x27' with a rinning waterfall. I had algae build up so I purchased this product. The first treatment helped it somewhat, but, water was still cloudy. Almost 2 weeks later, I did another treatment. Two days later my fish and frogs are dead.I did use the whole bottle for each treatment.Even if I get a refund can't fix all the work that I will have to do to replenish the fish. I'm not sure when it will be safe to put more in.They say their product is safe for aquatic life. Not true.Buyer beware
