Great service and packaging of my book
I love books and when I buy them ‘new’ off Amazon they aren’t always as the seller says. My book came packaged well and in perfect condition! Thank you!

Great Purchase Experience
I had a great experience... book was in perfect/new condition for such a great price. I did think it took a little longer than normal to get here... wish it wouldve been a little more timely... but was very happy once I received the book! The book itself... I already had the opp to borrow from my yoga teacher for a few weeks and knew it was a GEM... thats why I purchased it for myself. It's absolutely AMAZING -- as far as the practice itself, how simply Shakti explains it and makes it easy to read and follow and actually DO the practice and exercises. I've already recommended it to half a dozen ppl and will be purchasing a few as gifts... its truly a wonderful book... I cannot say enough about it!!Francine

Helpful and informative!
I'm new to the practice of Kundalini Yoga, although I am a Hatha Yoga teacher. This book was recommended to me by the person teaching the practice where I go.As you can see, I'm already bookmarking things so I can refer back as I learn. This book is do very helpful and informative. And who best to learn from than a former student of Yogi Bajan!

Great resource
This book is a great, easy to understand, introduction to Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Even though this is not a book full of yoga sets and meditations, it has enough to get you started. More importantly it will give the foundation for the teachings and practices so you understand why you're doing what you're doing.I constantly go back to this book for a few shorter and fun yoga sets, and to refresh on the basics. It's a great book to have in your library, and feel it's a good beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.

Portrait of a Complete Lifestyle Shift
This book may be helpful as a comparative text within the body of general yogic literature. The content of the text functions as a lifestyle practice manual, personal report and enthused relating of Shakti P. K. Khalsa's relationship with Kundalini Yoga, as brought to the West by Yoga Bhajan.Shakti writes about the details of her life and practice from an open and sincere heart, sharing everything from kriyas, mantras, asanas, pranayama to food recipes. The text is filled with exclamation points, theory from folksy unedited Indian thought, as well as gratitude toward Yogi Bhajan for his help in assisting Shakti "put it all together"—after a fifteen year period of the author's spiritual study and seeking.Western practitioners of yoga may find elements of the stated theory difficult to brook, yet the pithy aphorisms of Yogi Bhajan, which are peppered throughout, are universal in their appeal, reminding us to attend to the body and care for the Spirit.

So much more than just a Yoga book!
This book is a must have for anyone interested in Kundalini Yoga, or improving their health in general. I learned years worth of information in less than two months. The information is transformational, and easy to understand and apply. I would highly recommend this book for all levels of experience. For less than the price of two yoga classes, you can have a book full of physical and mental practices you can use for years, nutritional information, meditation tools and much more!

Comprehensive
This book is for anyone wanting to learn more about Kundalini yoga. There is a lot of interesting and informative reading. Not so much about the poses.
