Recently purchased after feeling very unwell and had an idea maybe bp related . Home monitored for a week prior to seeing gp (along with oximeter readings etc) . He was happy with the readings i presented and as a result i required medication which has made such a difference to my health. Providing the results from the machine are in fact accurate then i would definitely recommend. I guess even if it a smidge just off, it certainly has helped me feel better.The cuff is a good size. My arms are large and its fine. Doesnt burst off during inflation. Machine is easy to operate. I didnt bother setting the time etc. I took a photo on my phone instead. Im very happy with this monitor. I plug it straight into the mains. Not bothered with the batteries.

I purchased this blood pressure monitor for checking my blood pressure at home. It’s easy to use and simple to setup.It’s very good quality and shows accurate readings.

Purchased for my grandparents, it’s exactly the same as their go is using. My grandma was using wrist blood pressure monitor but it’s not very accurate.This monitor is so easy to use and it tells you if your blood pressure is good, ok or bad.And the best part for me personally is that it could be powered by usb wire, so no worries if the batteries are flat .

This has been a godsend especially with lockdown and the difficulties around seeing a GP, my husband has COPD and its been a very useful device for gauging what is going on with his blood pressure and heart rate, I also purchased a blood pressure and heart rate weekly journal so he could show it to the consultant when he eventually got an appointment. Initially I was worried it would be too complicated but it is so simple to use, I would recommend this blood pressure monitor to everyone, it's an essential device when doctors appointment are so difficult to come by and you need to convey important information to the receptionist at the medical practice.

Works ok compared to others around same price but the photo of a usb-c cable and description that it can be charged from type c cable are both false advertising. It does come with a charging cable but it is not type c and is too short to be off much use. Ordered expecting to be able to use decent length usb c cable.

The monitor is easy to use and it is easy to read the measured blood pressure however the unit I have does not measure blood pressure accurately - overstating the systolic pressure by 25-30 mmHg. On a fundamental level it doesn't work. I was getting readings at pretty consistent systolic blood pressure of 150 mmHg - problem high blood pressure so I went to the doctor. His sphygmomanometer reading was well below that so I was put on a 24 hour blood pressure monitor which measured 120-130 systolic all day - normal. I used the SIMBR machine straight after a few readings the 24 hour monitor and again got the 150 systolic reading. Given the NHS readings were consistent and consistent on the sphygmomanometer and 24 hour monitor I can only conclude the SIMBR machine is inaccurate. This inaccuracy looks to have un-necessarily worried me into thinking I had high blood pressure when the evidence from the NHS would confirm that I don't have an issue. Perhaps I have a duff unit?

A very nice looking machine that I got to replace my older one.The first first time I used it it flashed red whoch was very alarming yet my reading was marginally high. I then used my older machine and I got the same reading but the colour stayed in the green albeit bordering on the yellow.So I returned it and I am sticking to my old machine.
