Being different sizes top and bottom it's hard to find a dress with a comfortable and flattering fit. This dress though, ticks all the boxes.It looks beautiful, it's well made, material is light but not see-through and doesn't cling. It hangs perfectly and reaches about 2 inches below the knee. It's very feminine and floaty and so comfortable to wear all day, driving, playing with the children, dancing - no creases, looks as good after 8 hours as it did at the start of the day. It's fair to say I'm very impressed and will be buying a couple more of the designs.I matched it with the ivory bolero jacket from Roman for a wedding

The dress is lovely and summery, I had to return it because the dress had very stretchy material and didn’t suit my size 18 apple body shape

Dress arrived quickly and nicely packaged. My first thoughts were - love the colour,a bit flimsy, possibly see through, will be clingy. How wrong can you be! This is a good fit, I'm a chunky size 18/20. I ordered the 18. This isn't clingy or see through, and despite thinking flimsy it actually has enough weight about it to hang beautifully. The fabric is a bit like a swimsuit. The skirt has a lovely swing to it and is a flattering length sitting just below the knee. I'm 5"4. The neckline is just right ,not too much cleavage on show. I would have given this 5 stars but the only negative thing for me is that there is a lot of exposed flesh around the armpit area. However that's not really an issue as I did intend wearing a jacket or cardi. I would recommend trying this. Bear in mind you may want to try a size smaller if you like a tighter fit. I wore this to a wedding and had lots of compliments!

I love Roman's clothes and have quite a few now. They are always a great fit and beautifully finished. I will be taking this dress along with another 2 that I bought recently on holiday next month. Can't wait to show them off.

Like the dress - I have several in a similar style, though this is the first sundress. The straps are too long, too loose and keep slipping. I tried buying strap supports but the strap supports were too small for bras with wide straps. Have ended up shortening the straps myself.

This is one of those occasions when you order a dress cos you like the look of it and it more than meets your expectations. It looks good, fits well and my husband thought I looked great

I'm a big girl. 44 bust, 39 waist. Large shoulders and 5 ft 9in tall. The size 18 I ordered was too big for me, so I have returned this one and ordered a size 16. Don't understand reviews which say it is too short as on me it's stil just below the knees. I think this dress is lovely. It's pulls over the head and the material is also stretchy. Colour gorgeous and I'm not usually a big floral fan. Bought for a wedding in Jamaica in the autum and this will look fitted and stylish but will keep me nice and cool. UPDATE got my size 16 and a refund within days of returning the too big one. Excellent customer service.

I love this dress, so pretty and hangs beautifully. I'm 5'5 and it comes to just below my knees which is perfect. It looks more expensive than the £40 I paid. The colours are vibrant. Excellent, I love it.
