Airhead Deluxe Watersports Red Flag (4 ft) - Premium Watersports Safety Accessory - Enhanced Visibility and Safety for Water Skiing

This flag is awesome. It's large, easy/comfortable to hold, and very easy to see. I lost mine at the lake, and had to use the el-cheapo spare flag that's just stapled onto a wooden dowel (until I could order another one of these), and it really made me appreciate how great this one is :).

High quality flag - it is fabric, not cheap plastic that will tear over time. This flag is perfect if you frequently waterski, wakeboard, or wakesurf and have a bimini because it helps you to fly the flag above it and makes it visible to other boats. You can also get the flag up high where it can be seen without standing up or leaping from side to side in the boat to wave off inattentive drivers, which is hard when the boat is rocking, changing speeds, etc. I bought one of these years ago and found it helps to hand the rope to surfers so you don't splash or hit them in the face with the rope. After friends surfed with me, they all bought longer flags for the same reason. It is also great if you sometimes have a kid along as your "third" to hold the flag while you drive. Unfortunately, my kid dropped it in the drink and it sank. Without hesitation, I immediately ordered a new one (this one). Again, super great quality, it will last years if you don't lose it or drop it in the water. I'm thinking I might shove a pool noodle above the handle until my kids get older so it won't sink.Anyway, I'm not paid or anything - just an honest review. good product.

First off, I should let you know how I have been let down by past encounters with tow flags. I have had them sink, snap, tear, and just plain suck. However, this flag right here, is so loaded with awesome that other boaters cant help but break their necks from its attention grabbing force, just to get a glimpse at greatness. That orange warning hankie rippling in the wind is enough to warn even the dumbest jet skier to stay away. While they're out there getting their wake jump on, I could float a baby in a bassinet during spring break at Lake Havasu with out worrying that my personal space will be encroached upon. Its long stick stands tall with pride, while its fade resistant and vibrant orange flag warns off any would be invader of my bubble. Its comfortable handle fits perfect in my over-sized hands like a baseball bat in the mitts of the babe himself. I would make this the flag of a proud nation if only I had one to spare.... Thanks

Everything about this is higher quality than all the other flags out there (you get what you pay for). I would give it 5 stars instead of 4 but I think it is a bit spendy, more like 15-20 seems more reasonable. It is about twice as long as others, bigger diameter handle, the flag is bigger, and the cushy thick handle is comfortable to hold. It also has 2 little elastic bands to keep the flag rolled up when put away. The idea behind a safety flag is to be seen and this is much better at it than the other flags.I like the idea of the accessory flag holders you can buy that this fits in ( Kwik Tek FWT-1 Wakeboard Tower Flag Holder  or  Kwik Tek FBT-1 Bimini Top Flag Holder ), but it's not cheap for the wake-board one. Although, I can see the idea working because it only takes a beginner who falls a lot for the flag holder to get lazy in holding up the flag. But for lazy flag holders they don't have to put much effort into getting this up in the air because it is so much longer and bigger.

It's a bit more expensive than other flags, but worth it. The extra length makes it easy for even the vertically challenged members of the family to keep the flag visible. The big padded handle is comfortable and fits nicely into a rod holder on the boat. Quality seems very good.

As others have stated, it's more of a neon orange color... not red. But its good quality and a good size for a kayak.

I have rod holders attached to the back of my Hobie Pro Angler seat, and I stick the flag handle in one of the rod holders - works great! Also fits scupper holes of sit-on-top kayaks. Great visibility with the long handleI now use these on all my kayaks - even the two Native Mariners that are tan colored show up great on the water now!

It fits in my vertical rod storage rack in my boat so when we are on the lake others can see us. We have a small fishing boat and I want to be visible. I think this will be a great addition to our experience. Thanks!
