I really like the look of the clear shell and it works great with my purple buttons & Thumb caps

They’re really nice, feel great in the hand and, obviously, look sick.Installation is easy, just a bit time consuming

Did take to long and the d pad Is perfect happy sent me black and purple d pad as I'm not found of the purple buttons

Installing these was a bit of an effort. Lining up the buttons correctly is ideal otherwise you’ll be opening it up again like I did (see image with misaligned < A). I damaged a three inside which meant a screw came out and had to open the case again and glue that screw in.I don’t think the buttons that come with it are very good quality and I only used the z ones and the d pad (you have no choice as it’s different from the original case). I used the black ones from the original jojcons otherwise. It would be great if you could work on meeting the same quality as the Nintendo ones.Buy double sided tape or fold over tape to create a double sided effect with this to keep the battery in place.

I had previously bought some shells from another company on amazon with very poor results so I took my time this time and listened to peoples reviews and I can say these shells are so much better! Its like going from a Pontins holiday to a week break in the Maldives! East fit and well built and comes with spare screws and springs which are a blessing!

Misleading this. It’s made out it the controllers. It’s not, it’s new covers for existing controllers.

I've tried the other transparent shells and the quality for them were just awful. Super glossy, flimsy and not fitting together perfect and it bulging out all the timeHOWEVERThese shells are absolutely fantastic, transparent red fits together fantastic, I used the d pad from another set and default black buttons but apart from that, the sl and sr on side, trigger buttons etc all fit perfectly. It's a matt finish for textured grip, feels more premium and less low budget fake feeling.Honestly would buy again if I had spare joy con's, now I have a solid set with a d pad

At first I was sceptical about doing this myself even after watching countless YouTube videos. However, with a little perseverance I was able to change the joy-con shells with no consequences.The shells fit perfectly and you are provided with many spare parts - including screws, buttons, choice of d-pads, as well as more screw drivers than you know what to do with.The process is fiddly so I wouldn't recommend for unsteady hands or the impatient, but it is overall, a simple procedure as long as you follow online guides.I'm very happy with the product and if I had the patience and the confidence to change the shells regularly, I would buy more from them.

Excelente calidad, hermoso color, me encanta que mi switch tenga un dpad en vez de cuatro botones horribles e incómodos.PERO es un horror de instalarlos, sobre todo si no has hecho algo así en el pasado.Realmente hay muy poco riesgo de romper algo, aunque claro que existe, pero el horror son todas la spiezas pequeñitas y acomodarlas bien, los tornillitos diminutos.Un infierno.Pero logrando eso, la calidad y el resultado son increíbles.

These look great. I had two matching pairs of boring grey joycons. Now one pair is a grey transparent with colourful buttons! Installation was tricky (which I kind of enjoy - working on small electronics is satisfying for some people!). I broke one joycon while installing - I think I must have shorted out the main board on it. Take your time installing! The right controller is much more complicated than the left, so maybe start with the left and figure out what you're doing then go to the right one. Fortunately a replacement joycon was inexpensive on ebay and on my second try they both seem to work great. Installation was not a fault of this product, they supply replacements for all of the screws and springs, as well as good quality (especially for the price) screwdriver and bits for the job.Would do this again! Would just be a little more careful the first time! Thanks !

First off, I'll start by saying that I despise the original fluorescent pinkish-red and baby blue color scheme of the joycons - I'm sure some people like it, but I couldn't stand it at all. This kit took me from HATING my joycons to ADORING them. They're absolutely sick.From a build quality perspective:I have bought many, many, many, many, many.... Many aftermarket console and game handheld shells over the years. One common thing is that the plastics never feel as good, and the molding of the plastic is always imprecise which leads to stripped screws, jagged edges and ill-fitting parts. It's enough to make you wanna rip the hairs out of your head.Not these, though. These were mind-bogglingly good; the end product feels like it could be an official product, it looks fantastic, the D-Pad is comfortable, the buttons are well made, not a single piece failed to line up as expected, not a single jagged sharp plastic edge, not a single issue fitting the electronics into the new shell. On top of that, they provide you with what I'd call actually a decent screwdriver rather than of one of those microscopic tiny little ones some kits give you.My partner also recently ordered the non-dpad model in atomic purple-pink, same thing there. Perfect plastic molding, no issues, looks and feels premium. It's difficult to install, but it's not the company's fault, it's because joycons pack a lot of tech in a tiny package. Lots of dinky varying-length screws, ribbon cables, dangling wired bits, tiny springs, etc. You've been warned - this is not something you should do if you're not used to tearing down electronics. If you are - this will be a sinch for you.

Franchement rien a dire le rendu et magnifique .bon qualité. En plus avec La Croix directionnel ça aide beaucoup et surtout avec les jeux rétro . Top 👍🏾
