Creative Thinking and Arts-Based Learning: Preschool Through Fourth Grade (6th Edition)

Must read for anyone losing the sparkle of fun when teaching and learning
At first I did not know how useful this was going to be until I focused on reading it. Art, we can think of paintings, food sculpturea nd so on. However, what this book taught me was about how to understand art for children, which is nothing more than freedom on learning, which is something that has been banned nowadays for not a really good reason. Read this and amazed yourself at the fact that learning needs to be fun, didactive and contetualized with students' needs. There are so many perspectives, lessons and strategies you can use to teach chidren how they would want to be taught.

Good text book but....
I would have been willing to pay a little bit more for color photos on the inside. The cover is so bright and the inside is very blahh. Its kind of sad to see a book about creativity and art with no color.
