National Geographic Universe Wall Map - Laminated (31.25 x 20.25 in) (National Geographic Reference Map)

This poster makes clear the Earth's location (and position) in the Universe. The poster shows that the Earth is an infinitesimally small speck of dust in an inconceivably, enormous universe. Both informational and beautiful, this poster is very well done. It is breath-taking.

I don't normally write reviews... much less bad ones.. much less when it involves the Universe which I love.however this seems like a horrifically overpriced reproduction of a Nat'l geo poster. the paper is very thin, the laminate thin, wrinkled around edges and unevenly hand cut. please don't lie to the people who buy this. times are hard enough. this was an 'unnecessary' splurge for me. I am a student and single mother, though I am taking a physics class about the universe and am a visual creator so I was looking forward to studying this on my wall and finding inspiration at this time... in some way.I don't know if I should return it or integrate this sad feeling into how I feel about life here on this planet at the moment.returning it is an ordeal that involves driving half hour away to the town that takes return packages .. IF they are open:(

I ordered this poster as a birthday gift for my brother, a junior high teacher. He greatly enjoyed it and is having it framed for his room.

This map is great. Very good quality, color, and laminated.

Should be much bigger as a poster, as its a very huge subject. But good quality and mind blowing.
