Got some odd odors? This filter actually works very well, old houses kinda stink and the neighbors might add to this unfortunate volley of smells hitting your nose all day and night. With one of these filters you won't smell the house, you will just breathe the nicely scrubbed filtered air. They last for about a month if you run the fan scrubbing the air 24-7. Order more than 1 you will be impressed. The local stores don't carry this quality for this price usually IMO.

I’ve been using Filtrete 16x20x1 MPR 1200 Air Filters for a while now, and they consistently deliver excellent performance. The MERV 11 rating is ideal for capturing dust, pollen, pet dander, and other allergens, making a noticeable difference in indoor air quality.

These are the best filters we have found to date. Usually, I get very sneeze-y and coughing bad and that is how I know the filter needs changed. These last us about 3 months each and really take the allergens out. I do not sneeze as much, until they are over dirty and needing changed. We will continue to buy these filters for as long as they are sold.

Hard to quantify, but the filters do seem to help with odors. Only complaint is that they're a bit pricey.

I live in a multiunit apartment complex that is HORRIBLY constructed to the point that my downstairs neighbor's weed stench is literally permeating into my upper level apartment and causing SEVERE health problems. My apartment complex allows this and won't do anything to change it so, I've taken matters into my own hands.Afte trying literally EVERYTHING else on the planet, I finally gave these filters a try. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a difference these make!!!Only drawback is that they require more frequent changes, like every 4-6 weeks, but absolutely worth every penny for their performance. Definitely make sure you're checking & changing them out more often as they do tend to get very dirty quickly because of their excellent filtration abilities.

Our home is constructed of more natural materials, which is great until summer rains arrive and the humidity rises...then our home smells like a damp barn. These charcoal filtrete filters have been a game changer! Now our home has a more pleasant smell in the summer. I do need to change them out every 1 to 1.5 months to keep things smelling fresh, but for me it is worth the price.
