Fantastic product if you don't want to go thru the hassel of installing a new radio with a rear view camera. has 2 cameras, front and rear with recording which is a big plus for new teenage drivers.

I would be giving 5 stars but there’s a little room for improvement. The only had 2 issues and very minor. 1. The power wire back to the reverse light was about 4 inches too short, due to mounting location. I have a Jeep Cherokee, mounting above the rear plate was not an option. I mounted on the rear sun visor. I had to take quite a bit apart but it looks better then factory now. The other issue. You cannot rotate the image. If Incould have the rear camera would have been installed in the setback for the rear plate and issue one wouldn’t have been. In the end. I much happier with the placement where it is. I’m me more thing; when backing up the grid is too deep, it’s like 6 feet to the object to the line closest to the vehicle. Otherwise; the install was easy, it took me 3 house but that’s because Indont like seeing wires at all, like I said it looks factory, the images are crisp, day or night, I haven’t messed with audio yet, I may shut audio off to see if improved storage. Who wants to hear me yelling at bad drivers anyway.

Screws came out of the camera and the camera was hanging from the wire. Then after about2 months of use the charger broke and I couldn't charge the mirror anymore.

I've installed this in my 2015 F-250 truck. Easily installed. I've read an earlier review concerning a lack of over-writing the oldest file when the memory is full. I believe that the trick to assure over-writing is to either set the shock sensitivity (G shock feature that locks the file if the vehicle is struck) to a minimum, or turn off the G shock feature. At first blush, this appears to be a nice camera. I have not yet attached the rear camera or played any playback files. Purchased for well under $100 with the extra long rear camera wiring. Recommend. Will update after final rear install and some additional use.

We bought 3 of these for our vehicles.. two have run flawlessly and we are enjoying them.. the one we bought for our Hearse.. stopped working a month and a half ago.. At first it was the rear camera.. that just shows blank now.. Then this week . It powered on and has these weird lines in a grid with two arrows on the side and doesn't even record the front.. the front camera works but there's no time or record or menu option.. all three cars are parked next to each other.. so no reason for heat to affect one over another.. I did however notice when we got the hearse mirror.. That the time was a different size and it may have been an older model but it worked at the time and I was ok with it.. disappointed it stopped working . So giving 3 stars for 66 % approval on this product.. hopefully the other two keep going strong

It’s not the best at night but during the day it’s pretty darn good. I spent a long time trying to get the angle right because I thought it would angle correctly. I had to put it on the interior trim rather than on the window which kinda of is bad. See pictures for night time view
