Key Fob Shell fits 2012-2017 Toyota Camry / 2014-2017 Toyota Corolla RAV4 Highlander Keyless Entry Remote Case & Pad (HYQ12BDM), Set of 2

Toyota scammed us by convincing us that we needed a whole new key programmed, not just cut. Wasted $400 when all we needed to so was use a toothpick to remove the chip from the old key and slide it into this one. I do recommend!They refused to cut this key, wanting $180 for their own key without programming. So I melted the metal key out of this one and melted my old key blade back into this. Worked great!

The media could not be loaded. Very hard to find someone to make me a key with it.But it works just like the original key and it fits.

Buttons are not the same as my original 2016 Toyota RAV4 key. I bought this to replace the red button that I had lost on my original key. The red button did not fit the hole in my original key. So I filed the red button down, and glued it into the shell, but that button can not function.

This shell fit the components of my key very well. The only problem was that a few reviews states that I could get the key cut at a local hardware store. After calling & going to a few stores, I learned that, no, they cannot cut key fobs. I ended up calling a locksmith & it cost about $150 to have them cut the key. Altogether it was still cheaper than buying a new fob from Toyota. Other than the key cutting, it was a great purchase! I’d buy more from this seller.

Once I got the chip put into it and the lock actuator, it worked like a charm, don't loose the chip though, they are quite expensive to get cloned.

Swapped ALL parts including immobilizer took to Hardware store they said they couldn't cut key because Amazon parts messes up their key machine they can sell me new one for $200 and they have to special order. Another worker said take to locksmith they may be able to cut it for me. Took to nearest locksmith they cut for $5 worked perfectly total cost < $20. Thanks Amazon vendors
