My favorite table cloth for kitchen
I'm purchasing them again and again - one order lasts for a year for our family. I love them, they are simply the best for the kitchen! I've been using them for ages, trying something different from time to time yet coming back to Scotch-Brite over and over again! Nothing compares to them!

Saves so many paper towels.
Edit-I am changing my star rating to 5 from 3, as really it’s not Scotch-Brite’s fault for Amazon’s shoddy packing practices. The sponges them selves are awesome. Have been using for years. As mentioned before, helps me save on paper towels immensely! Not giving it 5 stars as I am not sure how bio degradable these are. Also if they could be a tad bigger, it would be awesome. Just a thought to make this awesome product even more awesomer!###################################So you order bulk, think nice, I am all set for an year with 24 I got only 12 in the box! I called Amazon, they confirmed there should have been 24 not 12!Use wise- I have been using these for years.Very absorbent. And can be wrung dry. Each sponge lasts me about 3 weeks to a month of kitchen use and about month and a half to 2 month in the bathroom. So many paper towel rolls saved!I use 1 for dish drying when hand washing dishes. You will have to wring them after every few dishes so they keep drying.I use another one just for counter tops and gas top and cabinets. Cleans everything beautifully.Bathroom this only gets used on the counter top nightly then washed with hot water and soap. For the kitchen ones I wash sponges nightly in soap and boiling water plus a drip of bleach. Every week both the kitchen sponges sponges go in the dishwasher.End of life term is when the towels sort of get very thin crusty and develop holes and tears. I use the dying ones on the floor. Cheap me. Also my thought is to try to waste as less as possible to help the environment.Amazon is to blame for me taking off two stars for delivering half of the product.

Would Not Buy Again
These are fine for cleaning. They can leave a film on chrome fixtures that dries spotty. They definitely will not replace paper towels. I will use them until they are gone, but will not buy them again.

Better than swedish dishcloths
I am utterly confused over why people rhapsodize over the typical Swedish dishcloths, which are way more expensive and far less absorbent. Perhaps people just like the different designs on them? But these Scotch Brite sponge cloths, which only come in a few colors, are the BOMB - thick enough to be absorbent for wiping, but still drying in a few hours for the next use without a smell. I use these exclusively and have given them out to family and friends, who all say the same thing - where did you get these???

BEST DISHCLOTH/RAG/WIPE UP CLOTH EVER!
As a long time veteran of the kitchen/bathroom sinks and buyer of paper towels, the "claims" of this cloth - thought HAD to be wrong/hype (the "Today Show" featured them as a good buy) - and hating to use bulky, long time to hang/dry dishcloths, hating the dreaded "bacteria" of sponges and stuff getting stuck onto cloths in the kitchen - I have NEVER seen such a product, as these cloths - they ARE BEST! Nothing sticks to them, if you have a spill, you can go through tons of paper towels to wipe up liquid, or use this and wring it out a few times, it's unbelievable, but great. They dry QUICK, they are super thin. A "dishcloth" isn't exciting but I was impressed enough to give one to my daughter and family member - and they loved it as much as I do. "Durability"? Well, I've used mine for weeks, daily, for lots - and it's holding up perfectly. Not sure how a "dishrag" could be improved any more than this product.
