Like at least one other reviewer here, I have Focal headphones (mine are Clears), and this 6-foot extension looks and fits as if it's made specifically for the stock Focal cables. It works just as well on the other end, where I use a Monoprice Monolith THX AAA 887. Quality appears excellent. Highly recommended!

I have 10-15 foot extension cables for single ended - doesn’t matter 3.5 mm or 1/4 in. There are adaptors to connect them.I listen in my den and all the headphone gear is ina closet 10-12 feet away.My new headphones have an XLR balanced connection. The TecNec has Neutrik male connector. Locks securely. Supposedly 6 feet. This was too short on its own so....I bought another brand that was 10 feet - it didn’t fit the xlr connection unless I was willing to force it- but I didn’t. Sent back.When I measured the TecNec cable it was 10 feet. So, I ordered a second cable and I’m in heaven. Lots of room to move - sound unaltered from amp direct -(Monoprice Monolith 788 THX).Great cableHoward

I bought a pair of high-end headphones that I needed more than six feet of cord to move around while listening. This did the trick without compromising sound quality.

Most of the XLR extension cables you'll find out there aren't for headphones because few people hook up their headphones via 4 pin XLR, and even fewer need an extension cable for that purpose. I did since I use them for home theater and my amp isn't near the chair. This cable did the trick. And luckily this one shipped outside of the US (my local amazon had none). It's well made, no complaints. A bit pricey, but I get that it's a specialty product.

Excellent connectors and cable. Not much else to say. Assuming assembly is good since Neutrik connectors don't tolerate sloppiness.

This a high quality audio cable. I’m using it as an extension for my headphones from a balanced headphone amp. Works as advertised.
