Fits great on my farm boss ms271, take off the side cover and drill through the holes from the inside out. I ground down the chain guides a tiny bit. Fits snug in the case now, might try to modify the case. Great product and such an improvement from the one stock small one.

Item does not fit my 462 stihl.

Had to grind the edge off of one of them, but it was minor and mounted properly.

I just got these today. I installed them right away on my 046. No modification necessary other than I ground the bolts shorter. For cheap Chinese dogs, they seem like they'll do just fine. Plenty sharp and have no issues grabbing into hard, dried red oak. For the almost 60 dollar cost savings over name brand, they'll do just fine. They are stainless. Time will tell how they hold up

I put these on my MS261c. The outer dog fits fine. The inner can't align with the lower hole because it is not shaped appropriately. I had to file a notch into the dog to make it fit. Otherwise, they work fine and line up ok. Definitely more substantial than stock.

Fit well on my ms391! Great improvement Feom the tiny stock pike and lined up perfectly. Great, thick steel. Does not bend when I dug into some big red oak. Great purchase! Will definitely it again!

They are good quality and can be fitted on most stihl saws and will not bend as easy as most aftermarket felling spikes over all good product very satisfied.

Very happy with this product. Fit perfect on my ms 290.

For a MS362 the inside dog had to be trimmed at the bottom. The points on the outside dog had to be shortened to align with the inside points. Should work ok now

Nice aggressive dogs that bolt up with no problem and are not offset from one another like other customers have had problems with. Perhaps the problem has been addressed by manufacturer eh? Was purchased in March 2020

Holes lined up correctly, and the two machine screws and nuts fit ( one was a bit too long and had to be filed down to put back the bottom wear protector). The outer dog sticks out a 1/4” further than the inner one though. The top and bottom seem to line up so I might just trace the inner onto the outer with how they fit and trim the outer with a zip cut. Might wait and see how the miss alignment affects the operation first.
