a good buy, with this extension

Definitely, a good buy, with this extension, wide tiles are more easy to cut since they sit on the table and you just push the table. I just adjusted it slightly high so with some weight it sits level with the table, can easily lift it up to remove when not needed.

What good id that

Well its not defective, but its build is strange. First, I assume you should get your own screws to insert into the legs that ultimately you turn to level. Next, the large open are, remains a large open area. What good id that? My opinion, dont waste your money.

you need it

the set screws on mine were too short to bring the side extension up level with the tray on my new mk-101. i bought 2 longer set screws and matching nuts. this way once the side extension is level with the tray - the nuts can be snugged and lock the screws into position so they wont lose their adjustment. the side extension should come with the saw. period. if you own the saw then you know you need this accessory so go ahead and spend the extra money.

Does not fit correctly required grinding in order to install. No longer being produced so no choice. Coating coming off already
