I got the white ones and they are more of an off white or an alabaster. Having said that they are lovely, solid and a great size. They were what I was hoping they would be as far as the quality goes they look and feel very nice. I ordered a second set because I can see they are very well made and this was what I was looking for. This seems to be a nice brand, I wash my dishes by hand so I can’t say how they hold up in the dishwasher but they wash by hand very well.

Look nice. Even, shiny white color. Heavy, not thin, well made. Great price.I know they say pasta bowls, but I'm using them as salad bowls, and they are perfect for the big Greek salads I like to make.Just got them, so far no chipping or cracking. Easy to stack up in cupboard.Love these bowls!

Perfect size and design. Actually what I was looking for.

I had another set of pasta bowls, but they were too deep and super slippery when wet. The 100th time I dropped one with soapy fingers I decided to donate them and get a shallower design with some finger grip. These bowls are perfect! The matte band at the bottom helps me to hold on to the suckers when wet. They are shallow, but hold a lot! We eat out of them frequently. Great for salads, nachos and tapas night. One layer and you can see all the food and mix to your desire. I will probably order another set as these end up in the dishwasher so often it would be nice to have more on hand. Great style and pretty. They coordinate with my other dishes well. I like all white dish ware. Looks nice in the cabinet.

During the summer my meals at night are often a dinner salad. These bowls are perfect for that. They are the right depth and diameter for your favorite green salad. Of course, they are great for pasta dishes as well, but during the summer a big green salad for dinner is what I use them for mostly. They are sturdy and clean up easily too. They hand wash well and are dishwasher safe. These large bowls are a must for your kitchen.

Chose the 8.75 inch set of 4. Love these bowls. Bought them for pasta but we use them everyday. Great for lunch, as a serving dish for meat or bread or potatoes. Not quite as wide as I imagined (and I compared both sizes) but cooking for 2 people they are just right. And rim keeps your spaghetti and meatballs contained. Would buy again.

I really like these wide porcelain bowls. They are sturdy, have a heaviness to them. It’s great they are microwaveable & dishwasher safe which is what I was looking for. These are definitely bowls for pasta, salad, rice or a dinner which is more “flat.” They are wide but low. Soup I don’t feel would be a good option. For an example on the size~length & width I took a picture of 7 Honey Crisp Apples in one bowl. It holds a lot but they are high. They look pretty in the bowl for sitting on the counter actually :) My bowls thus far have held a lot of pasta & they clean crystal clean. The one thing that bothered me was, for what I paid, the DOWAN stamp wasn’t on the bottom of the 4 bowls & I bought them from DOWAN on amazon. A bit strange to me. This reflects my 4 star. Other than that I do recommend them as they are nice.

These are really great plates, like I said. Super durable, and the perfect size. Haven’t chipped (yet) after over a year of use. Love them!
